Re: Hillary – But in the end, those "other women" Gennifer Flowers and Monica are watching "their" man kiss Hillary's butt all over the country. Hillary kept her man, didn't she, and now he's wrapped around her little finger. Those "other women" are watching Hillary now and are in their little places. They tried everything to break apart that marriage, didn't they? Didn't work. Now Bill is supporting her for once and it's Hillary's turn (like all the years she supported him). Funny how both of them have the same degrees in law but she left her career in the Nixon administration to marry him; she ended up supporting him w/his political aspirations. It's her time and her turn. Hillary Clinton 2008

After Barack's 8 years, Michelle can run for Presidency. I will HAPPILY vote for a woman President then.

Hillary has Bill's balls in her pants… after Monica bit them off!

Fuck that nasty bitch Hillary. I'd sooner vote for Obama than have her in the white house with her dumb as bricks husband banging fat whores in the closet.

Perez, Hillary is the biggest mistake this country could ever make, except for voting Bush to a third term if that was possible. Stop with the political postings, you will just piss people off.

    Re: luvbug – Hey #392 :)

Denying that Obama has taken donations from lobbyists sounds more like fluff and lies.

I've never denied that Hillary has, I merely stated the fact that Obama has ALSO taken. Let us start with Rezko. How much money did Obama really get and benefit from Rezko? He may not be a federal lobbyist, but he was surely looking after his interest and Obama certainly obliged Rezko's interest in the state of Illinois.

Just because Obama gave 80k back to charity doesn't take away from the REALITY that Obama did except money from this guy. And if you look at any of the actual FACTS you will see that Obama has probably received more like 200K from Rezko not the 80k. Not to mention some shady land deals to extend Obama's personal property… Oh and can I pipe in on Exelon too? Why are you so adamant on believing that this guy from Illinois is this squeaky clean politician? Lets get the facts straight before spouting "fluff and lies."

This man does not walk on water despite what you may think. Open your eyes, read, find the facts before you claim them as absolutes.

We need a new commercial from the Obama camp addressing THIS. It's about Barack's 1999 Limo blowjob sex scandal with Larry Sinclair. . So Obama's a gentleman's gentleman, a partaker of the love that dare not speak its name, a man's man, a pederast, a bugger, an ass pirate, a fudgepacker, a salad-tosser. And he hides this as a negative secret. And the beard/fag-hag named Michelle he carries around knows about all this. And is silent. Um………Open for comment….

  31. Lawzy, Lawzy, Don't Turn Michelle Loose In The White House says – reply to this

    631

What concerns me about Obama is Michelle. Do we want the Obama’s representing the USA schmoozing with Queen Elizabeth, the queen of the Netherlands, the monarchs of Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Spain…??? The Presidents, Premiers, Prime Ministers of Europe, Asia, & Africa…??? And what happens if/when Michelle Obama starts a crazy redecorating fit in the White House? OH lawzy, lawzy, Miss Scarlett!!! Congress better pass a bill for the White House on "No Redecorating by the Darkies" until we get Barack & Michelle OUT of the White House.

  32. troof says – reply to this

    632

Hillary's "leadership" experience is running the Children's Defense fund and, what?, being a 'power-wife'? Hosting dinners at the White House and talking about healthcare while your husband was the President doesn't get the same respect from me as, say, a state senator's or other local government official's work does.

Re: You are a joke – Hey #401… Umm I'm not sure if you can read but where did I claim that everyone would be covered under Hillary's plans? I merely stated that 45 million MORE Americans would be covered as opposed to her opponents plan.

Please read more, don't believe just what you are forced fed by the Obama campaign.

You sound like you are reading from Obama's recent health scare mailer that he sent out. Most all health insurance experts have denounced this mailer. This Obama mailer is in fact the SAME argument that health insurance CORPORATIONS used in 1993.

Even John Edwards health care adviser Peter Harbage is quoted as saying "The mailer is wrong and misleading."

That has to be one of the more vacantly ignorant comments on this topic. Even if you can't stand her, you can't deny the facts of her work experience… and she was fighting to get out the vote for Hispanics while Obama was the lawyer for a slum lord in Chicago.

Kanye West Secretary of Tact, Good Behavior, & Foreign Relations. Shameka's & Tyrone's running around all over the place. THEN, Michelle Obama will decide she is an interior decorator. Lawdy, Lawdy, that'll be the day. I'm sure she'll scare the hell out of Queen Elizabeth, her Prime Minister, President Sarkozy, the King of Spain, and all the other Heads of State.

    643

I care about this country and I don't want to see it go downhill even more. Obama seems well-intentioned for the most part. No politician is honest, but I think he does have a sincere hope for the country.
If he is elected, however, America is going to be like the guy who falls for the pretty 17 year-old at a party then wakes up the next morning and says "Oh, shit. What now?"
As cute as Obama is, his record shows that he is not prepared to address the problems that this country is facing.
You may not like the way Clinton looks or talks but she has the hard grit and history for the job. The ignoance about her record shown on this board explains why the same people are on the Obama bandwagon.

    648

We cannot and MUST NOT elect a womnan for president. It's not PC to say that so we say "I'm all for a woman President just not _this_ woman". Then the blame falls on Hillary instead of our sexism. If She gets the presidency, next thing you know we might have Elizabreth Dole or Nancy Pelosi for Vice President!! Obama is black but at least he is a male. Can't let those split-tails get too much power — it might go to their heads and then we'd have to stop bashing them for being battle axe witches and have to start taking their power seriously. What a nightmare!

    Re: HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT

why is it that hillary supporters don't do their hw? Barack has more legislative experience than hillary. he worked in the illinois senate for about 8 years before becoming a U.S. senator…which equals out to 11 years…while hillary has had just 1 term=6 years. On top of that Barack was a community organizer, a constitutional law scholar, and civil rights attorney! That's not experience? Tell me who has done the work on the ground for avg. people like you and me? It certainly wasn't Hillary who grew up rich in the suburbs of chicago and was even a republican in college. It's unacceptable to not research people before opening your mouth. If you can take the time to come on this website and post silly comments then you have enough time to actually read a book, go to barack's website, listen to his interviews, etc. Shit go to his youtube channel where there is a plethora of videos for you to soak in some knowledge of what he's about. Laziness by you and anyone else is the very reason why we keep electing the wrong shitty people.

    660

OR we can have someone who actually understands people from all types of backgrounds, who has been working on the ground trying to make life better for the voiceless and disenfranchised, who is interested in making our government more transparent, and getting americans involved in the process again, asking US to partner with him (as opposed to follow a person blindly who feels they know everything and don't have to listen to others)…how about electing a man who has a global perspective,,,,who grew up in Hawaii and Indonesia, who has a half-Indonesian sister, who understands the plight of immigrants b/c his father was one. How about someone who understands that inspiration does matter. Tell me one great president who didn't have a strong grasp on the importance of words and inspiring the masses. I want a president who is REAL and who is going to put an end to the dumb ass game playing in washington. If you don't want that then you don't want a better american b/c there's no way Hillary can deliver that!

  62. Vote Huckabee says – reply to this

    662

Since Ron Paul was rejected by the electorate they should vote for someone out of the mainstream like Huckabee. Huckabee is beholden to no one and is not in the back pockets of the elite small class of people who run the Republican Party. Huckabee is not your average run of the mill Republican, he is more of an independent and will listen to the people who votes for him. He has my vote because I know that he will make a fine commander-in-chief. He is strong on national security without being a warmonger and he will defend the integrity of our sovereign nation against the open border zealots.

Clean off your glasses and take a better look because the woman has a solid, long-standing history of public service.

  69. TimeZone says – reply to this

    669

Here's one of the many aspects of Hillary Clinton's history of work… perhaps the Obama bandwagon has difficulty researching facts about teh candidates.
"Under the guidance of Chief Counsel John Doar and senior member Bernard Nussbaum, Rodham helped research procedures of impeachment and the historical grounds and standards for impeachment. The committee's work culminated in the resignation of President Richard Nixon in August 1974"

  70. Things that make you go hmmmm says – reply to this

    670

Yeah #699, there's a lot more to her work than the obama-ites are trying to make out. Dismissing her work for children's adviocacy over teh years just makes them look stupid.
" An American Bar Association chair later said, "Her articles were important, not because they were radically new but because they helped formulate something that had been inchoate." Historian Garry Wills would later term her ___"one of the more important scholar-activists of the last two decades",___ while conservatives said her theories would usurp traditional parental authority, allow children to file frivolous lawsuits against their parents, and considered her work part of legal "crit" theory run amok."

(WASHINGTON (AP) - Harold Ickes, a top adviser to Sen.
Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign who voted for
Democratic Party rules that stripped Michigan and
Florida of their delegates, now is arguing against the
    very penalty he helped pass.

In response, the Obama campaign said Ickes' viewpoint
    runs counter to democratic principles.

"The Clinton campaign just said they have two options
for trying to win the nomination - attempt to have
superdelegates overturn the will of the Democratic
voters or change the rules they agreed to at the 11th
hour in order to seat nonexistent delegates from
Florida and Michigan," said Obama campaign manager
David Plouffe. "The Clinton campaign should focus on
winning pledged delegates as a result of elections,
not these say-or-do-anything-to-win tactics that could
undermine Democrats' ability to win the general
    election."

Working with New York's senior senator, Charles Schumer, she was instrumental in quickly securing $21.4 billion in funding for the World Trade Center site's redevelopment. She subsequently took a leading role in investigating the health issues faced by 9/11 first responders. Clinton voted for the USA Patriot Act in October 2001, as did all but one senator. In 2005, when the act was up for renewal, she worked to address some of the civil liberties concerns with it,before voting in favor of a compromise renewed act in March 2006 that gained large majority support.

As a member of the Senate Committee on Armed Services, Clinton strongly supported military action in Afghanistan, saying it was a chance to combat terrorism while improving the lives of Afghan women who suffered under the Taliban government. Clinton voted in favor of the October 2002 Iraq War Resolution, which authorized United States President George W. Bush to use military force against Iraq, should such action be required to enforce a United Nations Security Council Resolution after pursuing with diplomatic efforts. (However, Clinton voted against the Levin Amendment to the Resolution, which would have required the President to conduct vigorous diplomacy at the U.N., and would have also required a separate Congressional authorization to unilaterally invade Iraq. She did vote for the Byrd Amendment to the Resolution, which would have limited the Congressional authorization to one year increments, but the only mechanism necessary for the President to renew his mandate without any Congressional oversight was to claim that the Iraq War was vital to national security each year the authorization required renewal.)

After the Iraq War began, Clinton made trips to both Iraq and Afghanistan to visit American troops stationed there, such as the 10th Mountain Division based in Fort Drum, New York. On a visit to Iraq in February 2005, Clinton noted that the insurgency had failed to disrupt the democratic elections held earlier, and that parts of the country were functioning well. Noting that war deployments are draining regular and reserve forces, she co-introduced legislation to increase the size of the regular United States Army by 80,000 soldiers to ease the strain. In late 2005, Clinton said that while immediate withdrawal from Iraq would be a mistake, Bush's pledge to stay "until the job is done" is also misguided, as it gives Iraqis "an open-ended invitation not to take care of themselves." She criticized the administration for making poor decisions in the war, but added that it was more important to solve the problems in Iraq.

Clinton supported retaining and improving health benefits for veterans, and lobbied against the closure of several military bases.

Clinton played a formative role in conversations that led to the 2003 founding of former Clinton administration chief of staff John Podesta's Center for American Progress;shared aides with Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, founded in 2003;advised and nurtured the Clintons' former antagonist David Brock's Media Matters for America, created in 2004; and following the 2004 Senate elections, successfully pushed new Democratic Senate leader Harry Reid to create a Senate war room to handle daily political messaging.

Clinton opposed the Iraq War troop surge of 2007 and supported a February 2007 non-binding Senate resolution against it, which failed to gain cloture. In March 2007 she voted in favor of a war spending bill that required President Bush to begin withdrawing troops from Iraq within a certain deadline; it passed almost completely along party lines but was subsequently vetoed by President Bush. In May 2007 a compromise war funding bill that removed withdrawal deadlines but tied funding to progress benchmarks for the Iraqi government passed the Senate by a vote of 80-14 and would be signed by Bush; Clinton was one of those who voted against it. Clinton responded to General David Petraeus's September 2007 Report to Congress on the Situation in Iraq by saying, "I think that the reports that you provide to us really require a willing suspension of disbelief."

Angelina…. I don't dislike Hillary on a personal level, I'm just smart enough to realize that a huge chunk of the American public does. Are you familiar with what they refer to as her "high negatives?" She has higher numbers of people who dislike her strongly than anyone who has ever been elected. If we don't want 8 more years of Republicans in office, we have to nominate someone who appeals to independents and some conservatives, not someone who brags about her history of "fighting them." That's not how you win the White House. Wake up before the Democrats defeat themselves for the millionth time.

    To Experience Matters,

Thank you for outlining so articulately the great contribution that Hillary Clinton has made to this country. Yes, experience does matter and Obama doesn't have it! Only Clinton has the experience and COURAGE required for this role!

    Loyal Hillary Supporter!

She introduced Arkansas' Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youth in 1985, a program that helps parents work with their children in preschool preparedness and literacy. She was named Arkansas Woman of the Year in 1983 and Arkansas Mother of the Year in 1984.
Clinton has enjoyed high approval ratings for her job as senator within New York, reaching an all-time high of 72 to 74 percent approving (including half of Republicans) over 23 to 24 percent disapproving in December 2006, before her presidential campaign became active; by August 2007, after a half year of campaigning, it was still 64 percent over 34 percent.
    .
And that is just a section of her accomplishments. Yo may not like her but you can't deny teh fact that she has been active and effective in public service and innovation for all of her adult life.

That's your opinion and most Democrats don't agree. Some republicans hate her because they fear her and that's fine by me…. although, if you look at her record, she has done eight times more bi-partisan work than Obama has.

I do like Obama, but he has missed way too many Senate votes — the rebubs nailed Kerry on that one 4 years ago and they'll destroy Obama on that if he gets the nomination.
Hillary has been present and has voted diligently and she has crossed party lines in much of her work. Don't believe the twaddle about her not being able to beat McCain. Even Ann Coulter supports her over McCain.
