Obama Plagiarizes Speech
Filed under: Barack ObamaBarack Obama has been criticized for plagiarizing a speech during a campaign stop this past weekend and not being upfront about it.
The similarities between the Democratic presidential hopeful and a speech made by by Deval Patrick, the current Democratic governor of Massachusetts, back in October 2006 are striking.
Barack blatantly copied several lines and linguistic speech patterns from Deval's "Just Words" speech for Obama's own "Words Matter" speech in Wisconsin.

Did anyone see Hillary's NEGATIIVE TV COMMERCIAL towards OBAMA…In the commercial she keeps talking about WHY he won't do a debate in Wisconsin and says that he afraid and he doesn't care abotu Wisconsin voters….THEN HERE comes the WISCONSIN GOVERNOR, Jim Doyle being QUOTED as saying Mrs. Clinton has been “very disingenuously” attacking her rival. She’s fixated on this one debate, Mr. Doyle said, while Mr. Obama has been engaging with Wisconsin voters “day after day, in community after community.”
“The fact is he’s the one here in the state having a one-sided debate,” he added.
The governor also disputed the specific charges made by Mrs. Clinton in the ad, saying “to claim he’s some kind of lackey for big oil is laughable.”

Stealing and plagiarizing mean taking without permission and passing the language off as your own original thoughts. Patrick CLEARLY states that he encourage Obama to use the ideas and passed his speech onto Obama's speech writers. Please research all of the story before you try to inflame others.
If you read the New York Times article or do a google search about this, you would see that he in no way plagiarized. Get your facts straight before you start you lame smear campaign, idiot.

Obama came up with his hope and inspiration and change message. He inspired people to follow. We all agree he doesn't have experience or substance; Now we know he doesn't even write his own speeches. He's basically a minister. Anyone can memorize speeches like Obama - but not everyone can be a President. Obama needs to give up - his great inspiring speeches were all he had left. He's EMPTY.

Deval borrowed "yes we can" for his gubernatorial campaign, which Barack also used for his Senata campaign. Hrm. I hope everyone does watch that video, rather than just swallow your description without bothering to research this. While I wish Obama would have cited Patrick's speech as inspirational, I don't feel as though he plagiarized an entire speech. The two main similarities between the two speeches are the MLK Jr. quote and the Thomas Jefferson quote, which are two of the most used and recognizable quotes in the US. Obama's speech is not particularly creative, but it's not as horrible and you're implying it is.
The way you're trying to badmouth Obama is really transparent and disappointing. You are in a position of power like every member of the media. You have a chance to FAIRLY publicize this election. If you continue to be so ridiculously one sided, you're really no better than Fox. Come on, Perez. You're smarter than that.
