It is clear that you are a huge Beyonce fan. So am I!! I love Beyonce!! She is great! Beautiful girl and extremly talented! But you are very wrong again in your Janet info. It is true that Janet is very well known for her sex symbol status. And to be honest, I'm getting a little tired of it myself and I've been a huge fan of hers for well over 20 years now. I personally miss her songs with deeper meaning like from Control, Rhythm Nation, and The Velvet Rope, how ever….Janet has co-produced very much of her own material. "Black Cat" was written and produced by Janet herself–mind you that was a number one hit! The janet. album, The Velvet Rope, All For You, Damita Jo, 20 Y.O. were all co-produced Janet Jackson. Janet has always been very much involved in the behind the scenes of her career–including the productions of her stage shows. I never said that Beyonce owed her career to Janet. I was pointing out to you that Beyonce herself said those words. Beyonce is clearly doing her own thing and I personally don't feel like she's copying Janet. Britney Spears, on the other hand, has done nothing but copy Janet Jackson her whole career(and has done a horrible job at it).

As far as Beyonce having 10 grammys, you have to notice and keep in mind that it is a lot easier for a artist to earn a grammy now verses 20 years ago. They hand out grammys like candy now!!! Look at how many Amy Whinehouse won a few weeks ago. Alicia Keys won 5 in one night with her debut album. Fucking Eminem even has grammys. How many rappers are there that are far more talented than him without a grammy? Please…we have legends who don't have as many grammys as Beyonce, i.e. Patti Labelle, Tina Turner, Little Richard, Prince, Madonna, Whitney Houston…need I say more? Janet Jackson holds many records that have yet to be broken. She was the first female artist to score 5 top 5 singles with Control. She then broke her own record with Rhythm Nation scoring 8 top 5 singles. Her Rhythm Nation Tour was the most successful debut tour in history. In 1994 Janet surpassed Aretha Franklin with the R&B female artist having the most number one hits. In 2001 her song All For You was the most added song to radio across the U.S. I know you kids think Beyonce is the shit, but Honey, she still has a long to go to catch up with Janet.

I appreciate your comments, but Beyonce is still recognized as a sharp vocalist's in the industry, something that Janet was never perceived as being.
THIS IN ITSELF COUNTS FOR ALOT AND SPEAK OF THE LARGE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO! And more importantly, Beyonce IS THE ONLY FEMALE ARTIST probably beside Tina Turner but I haven't seen Tina reach those high notes I've seen Beyonce reach in pop culture history that is known to have the FULL PACKAGE Meaning she sings, dances, performs, entertains, designs, writes and acts all at above average levels. SOMETHING THAT JANET IS NOT KNOWN FOR. This is why Jay z TRIED to model rihanna off of Beyonce, though Rihanna's performances, voice and talents is NOT on par with
Beyonce, who is known to be the FULL PACKAGE in the biz. Sorry but Beyonce is making her own mark and HAS in some ways surpass Janet in SOME aspects. Please do NOT try to tear someone else down by uplifting another. It doesn't work and it is WRONG! You said yourself : "without janet there will be no Beyonce" er WRONG!
There is a reason why YOU ALL can't stop talking about Beyonce, there is a reason why her perfromances makes front page news, there is a reason why Rihanna coies so much from Beyonce, there is a reason why ALMOST everybody is compared to Beyonce and everything she does makes headline news. BEYONCE IS A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH in this industry. AND YOU KNOW IT BY VERY NATURE THAT YOU ALL CANNOT KEEP HER NAME OUT OF YOUR LIPS SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. I am not undermining Janet at all, but to say had it not been for Janet, there willl be no Beyonce, is ludicrious AND YOU KNOW IT!

Keep in mind that Beyonce being a "great singer" or a "sharp vocalist" is your opinion. I love Beyonce, but I don't think she is the best singer in the world. Just because she is loud doesn't mean she can sing. Quite honestly I put her, Janet, Madonna, and May J. Blige in the same boat as far as their singing goes. The best singer out of Destiny's Child in my opinion is Kelly Roland. And as far as Beyonce's acting goes, yes she may have been in more movies than Janet, but again, I put them in the same boat as far as their acting skills. THEY BOTH NEED IMPROVEMENT…LOL! If you want to talk about someone who has concurred all aspects such as music, movies, clothing and fragrances, I think that one should go to Jennifer Lopez. If you want to talk about THE BEST SINGERS, I think that should go to Christina Agulira, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston.
