Owen Wilson is getting back into the swing of things after his attempted suicide last year.
The actor is set to start filming a new movie.
Marley & Me begins shooting in Miami next month.
Marley & Me, based on a memoir, depicts the lives of a young columnist and his wife, also a reporter, who move to South Florida and adopt an incredible puppy named Marley.
The film co-stars Jennifer Aniston.

Marley and Me is a best-selling book (true story about a yellow lab and its owners) that made me laugh and cry. Good for them….it should be great!!!
Aniston is not smart enough for Owen.
He is a quiet genius. She's a simpleton.
Owen - the World's Most Miserable Movie Star! How is this mental case/skag head going to promote these family-friendly movies when he spent the last six months hiding from the public after his drugged-out cutting gone wrong; I mean, his "suicide" attempt? Another public statement would be nice before he expects what fans he has left to shell out their hard-earned money and put their asses in the seats for his next couple of crappy movies. BTW - I'm not at all surprised that he's going back to work already. That high-quality smack don't pay for itself, bitches!
Oh, come on, Perez! With your little Teddy, you have GOT to read Marley & Me - you will no doubt cry your eyes out. It's a fantastic book and I'm really looking forward to Owen and Jennifer playing the lead roles. I think they'll be a BOX OFFICE HIT!

Actually, Perez, sounds like box office gold to me! It's a best-selling book, with 2 of the most tabloid exposed actors, who are very likeable and do comedy-PLUS-the dog! Families and dog-lovers will be flocking to it. Good luck to them!
Marley and me was a great book perez - you should read it. I bet they will completely eff up the book by making this movie =o\ Owen wilson looks NOTHING like John Grogan who wrote the book about his dog and family

That book was sooo good ! And sicne you have a puppy of your own, i suggest you read it ! it was adorable, and i cant wait for this movie to come out ! If i hadent read the book, i would have thought the same, but it was reallly good and i reccomend it.

It' funny cuz Owen's nose looks exactly like Maniston's before she got the multiple surgeries. I wonder if it'll repulse her to make out with her old nose? I wish they would have babies together. I can't even imagine.

Any one who has read the book, I'm sure, would agree that you can't take the book and make it into a movie… The book was sensitive, real, and funny… these two can't do that.. AND I doubt they can get a *real* lab that will capture Marley's spirit…
If the movie is half as good as the book…it should actually do well. The book was amazing!

Marley and Me is one of the best books I have ever read. It is funny, touching, and sad. It tells the story of how much love a pet can bring into a family's lives. If the millions of people who made this book a bestseller go to see the movie then it will be a hit.

Perez, the only ones having box office disasters are Brangelina and everytime they have a movie coming out they speak Jenn A.'s name hoping that will ignite our interests in them again. It never works. I was never interested in them as singles and certainly not as a "couple". When a movie fails she visits a war torn country, adopts or gets knocked and sells the pics. Boring skanks.

This book was amazing! Especially since labs are one of the most popular breeds in America, along with this book being a best-seller….this movie should definitely do well. I hope the film does justice to this truly heartwarming book! You would definitely love it Perez-I don't know anyone who didn't cry at the end! Though I love Owen, I'm not sure if he is appropriate for the part…Aniston will be fine in this role if she is playing the wife…the book didn't include too much of her at all.

Nothing wrong with the story. The book it's based on was a huge success. What makes this one a clunker is that it stars Jennifer Aniston. Seriously, other than Friends, what has she been successful in? She should stick to the small screen where she isn't so dull.

Marley & Me? That was a fantastic book, and I think they'll be able to do it justice. It's has a lot of silliness, but a certain magic for anyone who has ever, ever owned a dog.
