Never mind that this non-story has been completely defused by Duvall himself, who was not at all offended that Barack repeated some of his words, which actually were taken first from the founding documents of our country (Declaration of Independence), Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech, and I believe, JFK…I mean, how stupid do you think we all are??? Duvall's words weren't even "original" as if that means anything at all. This is a non-issue.

Many politicians "borrow" words or ideas from other politicians. For many weeks, both John McCain and Mitt Romney have borrowed the rhetoric of Ronald Reagan. If you think politicians are out there reinventing the wheel, you are very misguided.
Hillary Clinton has referenced much of Obama's rhetoric in order to build momentum for herself. For instance, "yes, we will" has become a slogan of her campaign.
At any rate, if this latest attack on Obama had any semblance of a scandal it pales in comparison to the Clintons' skeletons. On the Clinton side of things, there's been Whitewater, the Lewinsky scandal and impeachment proceedings. Those speeches belong to Historical Figures. Deval Patrick ran in 2006, what do you have to say about Obama's speech in 2004 which was clearly his own. By the way most of the Political Analysts are calling this ridiculous, because all Politicians borrow speeches, including that Hillary Clinton has done as well.
