There are far bigger problems regarding this election than an allegedly plagiarized line in a speech. While Barack Obama's speeches are a fundamental part of his campaign, they are not everything, despite slander that suggests otherwise. Also, the message in the line is one that both of these politicians swear by and will back up. If you really feel like nit-picking something, how about your precious Hillary's equally idealistic- and some would argue UNREALISTIC health care plan.

No, he may not "need" to give credit during the speech, but it just looks bad. That's all I'm really saying. People on here wonder why it's such a big deal. It comes down to the fact that the characterization of Obama is that he isn't a "politican", in the negative sense of the word. He's someone fresh, someone with new ideas, someone who will change this country. Then something like this happens, and it kind of tarnishes his image a bit. No, it shouldn't be made into a huge circus. It's a relatively benign matter. Maybe it wouldn't have surprised me if it were Hillary or McCain, but you would think Obama would be better than that–after all this hype about how honorable and great he is.
