…to see if all you Obama groupies would be yelling at Perez to stay out of politics if he said something nice about your messiah. Looks like we were right: It's okay if he talks politics if he agrees with all you sheeple.

Barack Obama cruised past a fading Hillary Clinton in the Wisconsin primary Tuesday night, gaining the upper hand in a Democratic presidential race for the ages.

It was Obama's ninth consecutive victory over the past three weeks, and left the former first lady in desperate need of a comeback in a race she long commanded as front-runner.

"The change we seek is still months and miles away," Obama told a boisterous crowd in Houston.

  8. skye says – reply to this

    208

Let Obama win. That way blacks will find out what whites already know. It's not that much of a big deal. Performance is what counts. And their days of playing the race card will be over.

    Re: THIS WAS JUST A LITTLE TEST… – #334
The "sheeple" are voting for McCain. No amount of Republican incompetence or disgrace could ever change their minds! Real conservatives would vote for a block of wood, as long as it whine continued to whine about Mexicans, Muslims an' homersexshuals.
Obama started as an underdog and an outsider. Yeah, there are plenty of latecomers, but at least they've seen the light. Unlike typical Cuntservatives, we're an inclusive and welcoming movement…a true, cultural phenomenon. That's why they call us "progressives."
    Breaking: TEAMSTERS ENDORSE OBAMA!!!

  13. Flip-flop says – reply to this

    213

Flip-flopper! You're congratulating him now when just the other day you posted a video of him borrowing from his buddy's speach. Now that he's won the last 10 states in a row, you're kissing his ass. Way to be, Perez. Why don't you just stick to gossip and leave politics to CNN? I think a lot of us would really appreciate it!

Watch the interview Chris Matthews at MSNBC had with a Senator supporting Obama. Matthews asked, "Name one accomplishment Obama has achieved as Senator?" His own supporter could not come up with a single thing, not one! Matthews gave him three chances to reply, he could not come up with ONE!! This speaks volumes about Obama's lack of experience. Underneath his copied words and big smile, there is nothing! Oh, I forgot there is- his wife, "who for the first time in her adult life is finally proud of her country." This is who you want in the White House? Come on people, wake up, before it's too LATE!!!!!! I did and my vote is now for HILLARY CLINTON!!

I wished American's would get more educated about the two candidates and watch the debates, then he wouldn't be winning so many states.

    Dear Perez,

You got the check didn't you? I thought we had a deal. Why are you now posting congratulations for Obama. My people paid you $5,000 to post favorable posts about me, the true leader of the free world. I will break you unless I get a good post soon. I will unleash the Clinton bashing machine on you. Please don't try and make up your own mind, just follow or be destroyed.

    Lots of love,
    Hillary

P.S. Is that the normal rate? I heard the Jonas Brothers (Hollywood Records) paid less, are you screwing me?

These states are not democratic.. it was expected that he would win most of them. However, Obama has not proven he can win a true democratic state. I will not vote for him. He is hot air in my eyes. I think only Hillary can move this country towards economic stability. She has the experience, knowledge and IQ level to put the pieces of the economy, war and legal landscape to stabilize this country. The masses have proven to be wrong on selection… twice bush was elected. I am confused why people are after Obama. This guy is change but not for the best. This change is risky. I do not trust this man and wonder what his quailifications really are.

Be careful what you wish for.

Obama has the most Liberal voting record in the U.S. Senate.
And I hasten to point out the fact that this includes Teddy
    Kennedy.

Obama keeps beating the drum for change… big deal. Tell me
which politician hasn't made that same noise in… oh… the
    last 20 years.

Tell me exactly what you know about what Obama will do. What
change will he bring about that will benefit you?

The answer is you know nothing because Obama has yet to say
anything of substance. He's a great orator, for sure… but
tell me exactly what form this change will take.

The bandwagon is a fun place to be until the horses take a ****,
the axles break and the wheels fall off…

If either Obama or Clinton are elected look forward to somewhere
in the neighborhood of $800 BILLION in new taxes… get your
    checkbook out.

I can not even stand the thought of Hillary Clinton being in the White House. The Clintons are criminals!!!!!!! And although I have enormous respect for John McCain and his history of service to this country as both a Vet and POW and a senator but I do not think he is right for this country right now. I believe everyone in this country has a right to health care……..and I believe we need to leave IRAQ.

I mean for God's sake his stupid ass wife said she was ashamed of her country, what kind of racist bullshit is that? If any white candidate said that he would DONE but Self hating whites and racist blacks turn a blind eye to this fool's character flaws because they're brainwashed by an entertaining personality. Personally, I'm paying more, these days, for food, housing, school, gas and taxes than ever before! Those are the FACTS. At the very least, I expect better roads and schools.
Guess it's all going to no-bid contractors. It's the Enron School of Economics.
    GO HAILIBURTON!

One thing I know for certain is that no matter who is elected nothing will "change" unless you mean for the WORSE. Politicians don't give a flying shit about struggling Americans unless they are sucking up for votes. Once they get in the whitehouse all they do is payback the corporations that paid for them with hefty tax breaks, pork barrel crap and more illegal aliens for them to exploit. Enjoy while I make plans to move to Denmark.

I blame the mindset of "I didn't feel anything about politics until Obama came along (Really???)" for the situation that our economy is in today. I blame you for 8 years of Bush. When Bush was running against Kerry.. I don't care if he was running against Mickey Mouse, everyone should have been standing in line to vote.. but oh no.. where were you??

OH wait.. the candidate wasn't cool enough at the time? He didn't "look" the way you wanted him to? And now what is different… The people who are falling all over themselves, crying, "fainting", etc. etc. over a political candidate. Get over yourselves. You do NOT know him personally, you never will. It is time we treat our political candidates as the ELECTED officials that they are… they are not the second coming of the messiah… That is the same mindset the Christian conservatives used when they elected Bush and where did that get us.

We need to be hard on them and hold them to a high standard.. that is why WE pay them… the taxpayers of the United States of America. Ask questions about their experience (yes it is important and no you can not learn "on the job") and their policy proposals…I mean come on people… I think if Hannah Montana were running I think she would have a chance or if Obama said he could cure cancer people would believe him.

    Re: misse

The Clintonites and Republicans can spin this all they want.

I took it to mean Michelle Obama was referring to all the young people
getting involved in the electoral process; people crossing party lines; people not allowing gender or race to choose our candidates; people coming out of their comas and taking the election process seriously.
We are tired of the Bush administration, politics as usual.
It is time to hand this country back over to the American people, not special
    interests!

While you are busy making nice with the biggest threat to this country, I'll be voting for Hillary on March 4th and then McCain if it comes down to him and Obama. I will also be researching property in Costa Rica so if the worst case scenario happens and Obama becomes POTUS I can get out.

Yeah about that Dallas rally: Obama spoke for 45 minutes about what he will do, everything from end global warming to end world hunger.. oh and also to achieve world peace. While Chelsea Clinton visited many local colleges having a question and answer session with the crowd about her mothers policies. Even she knows how to speak about substantive issues instead of lofty goals… Chelsea Clinton for President!!!!

It was predicted some time ago that Obama would win Wisconsin and Hawaii on Feb. 19. However, on March 4, Hillary will move ahead again. She will win in Texas, Ohio, and Rhode Island. Obama will only win Vermont that day. Hillary will also win Indiana and Pennsylvania. Plus, she is getting more super delegates than Obama. Hillary will win the nomination.

Full speed ahead with the best candidate I've seen in a long time — Barack Obama! He has the morals (community organizer) the intelligence (constitutional law professor) and the spirit (since enter the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096).

I'm cautiously optimistic that with him in office, problems like global warming and our poor standing in the world might begin to be chipped away at. It will just be nice to have a democrat back in office and he has the only chance in the fall!

Conversation with a Texas Obama representative from last night:

MSNBC's Chris Matthews: "You are a big Barack supporter, right, Senator?"

State Sen. Watson: "I am. Yes, I am."

Matthews: "Well, name some of his legislative accomplishments. No, Senator, I want you to name some of Barack Obama's legislative accomplishments tonight if you can."

State Sen. Watson: "Well, you know, what I will talk about is more about what he is offering the American people right now."

Matthews: "No. No. What has he accomplished, sir? You say you support him. Sir, you have to give me his accomplishments. You've supported him for president. You are on national television. Name his legislative accomplishments, Barack Obama, sir."

State Sen. Watson: "Well, I'm not going to be able to name you specific items of legislative accomplishments."

Matthews: "Can you name any? Can you name anything he's accomplished as a Congressman?"

State Sen. Watson: "No, I'm not going to be able to do that tonight."

Matthews: "Well, that is a problem isn't it?"

    Re: Sam

I'm an Obama supporter who DID vote and enthusiastically support John Kerry and Al Gore before him. Each election, I pick the democratic candidate who has the full package: values, morals and great ideas and I work hard for them.

Hillary turned me off very early this year even though I had liked the Clintons since the '90s. I did a little research on Obama, on his web site and elsewhere. I was really impressed. The detail on his web site is specific and very well thought out.

I researched bills he supported in the senate, such as
**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 (became law),
**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),
**The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,
**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),
**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee), and many more.

Finally, I heard him speak and liked his style. That was the LAST thing that made up my mind. These people who accuse him of style over substance are just SOUR GRAPES. Sorry he's the full package and your candidate is not!

Some idiot claimed " Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096." Dude, you pulled that out of your ass. He cosponsored two bills in his entire senate life which were defeated. Please don't vote if you are that gullible/stupid.
