Nicole Kidman made a rare public appearance on Tuesday. The actress was in Tokyo to promote her film The Golden Compass, which was a dud in America.

The golden compass was not a dud in America Perez, it grossed nearly 70 million. The movie just did not meet the expectations that studio had for it in america in accordance to its budget. I would say any movie that any movie that made 70 million is not a dud. Get your facts straight!!!
She's still pretty early in and she's also freakishly tall and thin, so she probably won't show too much anyway.

Tall women don't get as big as shorter women, and many women on their first pregnancy really don't start showing till five months or so. I didn't start showing with my daughter till I was about five months along.
With women that skinny …. she should be showing something at over 3 months along (which she is) so I have NO idea why we see no bump. I started showing at 4 months and I'm just an average girl so she should definitely be showing something!

I don't know, but I think that she looks pretty, and I actually liked the golden compass movie.
Well, women usually show around 4 months or so, but as Nicole Kidman is about 5 feet 10 inches and has probably been in starvation mode for 15 years, she may not show until her fifth month or so. Who really cares anyway? Let her be happy. Pregnancy is a joyous time.

I had a baby in November and I was so sick the entire time that I gained barely any weight and probably didn't look more than six months along by the time I was 9. EVERY pregnancy is different.

I'm due around the same time as her the end of July and I'm not showing yet. I'm 17 weeks with my first I was still in my pre pregnancy pants till I was 26 weeks. She is in very good shape and she is tall so I'm guessing she is fine just lucky not to start showing early. Most women do start to show around 3 months I think she is only 4 months.
i'm 18 weeks preg and not showing at all and my baby is measuring exactly where it should. If you are preg for the first time you do not show till about 24 weeks unless you have poor posture and too much fat. I see a belly on Nicole.
I'm guessing between 4.5-5 months. Many women suddenly round out with the belly at 5 months, but look just pudgy until then. So yeah, she's just about to round out, just about 5 months is my guess.

Nicole is VERY tall, so she has a great deal more room in which to carry her baby. I looked maybe 5 months pregnant when I was 8 months along, and I'm only 5'2".
She looks to be about 5 months pregnant. I can definitely see a bump on her - and women who are in really good shape don't show until then (usually) with their first child.
This selfish bitch is bring a baby into this world, yet she has 2 children she does not spend a day with, when was the last time she has been seen with her first two? They don't even live with her or Tom, they live with his sister.

Perez some women don't show for 5-6 months, it could be that she is carrying low (which mean it could be a boy according to some old wives tales).
I'm 8 months pregnant and did not show until 6 months. If you're tall, work out a lot and it's your first - you can get by without showing until you're nearly in your third trimester.

For a first pregnancy, most women won't start to show until the around the fourth month or so. After that, it gets earlier.

Some women don't show until they are in the 5th or 6th month….
i didn't start showing until 20 weeks or 4 months and even then you can hide it well it doesn't really start to pop until 5 mos. and then it really pops!

It was announced early January so she is probably close to three months…every woman is different when it comes to gaining pregnancy weight, and women with figures like Nicole probably won't start showing until 4-5 months. She has always been a really really skinny lady!

While married to the cruise, Nicole did become pregnant but had miscarriages. She was pregnant with his child when he announced they were separating. He tried to hide the fact that he was cheating with Penelope, and also tried to blame Nicole for the breakup, saying that she was cheating. It was only after her co-stars on “The Hour” stood by her that he (and his cult backers) stopped the attempt to destroy her. I cannot forget how he did her during that time and I highly resent the attempt by perez to tear her down every chance he gets. Even though Nicole is not always my favorite person, I still like her better than those that abuse her for their own pleasure.
I had no bump until I was almost 5 months. Sometimes ya just can't tell. You can see hers though!
i did not show until 6 months along. i'm only 5'8" and if she's 5'10" she may be able to hide the bump longer…
I work with preggos and she could very well be 6-7 months along. She was quite thin pre-baby, and if you look at her abdomen it is thick and firm, noticably round between the hip bones. She'll probably 'pop' out soon.
the dress is really busy to help hide it. but you can see from the side angle that there is a noticable bump. i'd say 4 months.. she has a really small frame so maybe even 3 1/2.
Women who are in a FIRST pregnancy still have very strong abdominal muscles. Some don't show into their 5th month. She does have a baby bump- but it is a little baby bump. She is tall and has plenty of room- shorter girls show sooner than tall girls, for obvious reasons. If you actually look at her hip in relation to her tummy, she is showing quite nicely.

She's already thin, and 6' tall, Perez. That means she can take as long as 4 months to show. Furthermore, in the first 3 months there can be quite alot of unfortunate morning sickness and daily vomiting going on. I lost 7 pounds in my first 3 months of pregnancy from it, and didn't gain anything.
She may actually grow thinner over time if this is happening to her..but the bump will definitely start showing by 4 months when she passes the first trimester and morning sickness.

I'm not sure how far along she is but it looks like there may be a slight bump. I hope she didn't have another miscarriage that would be so sad.
Isn't Nicole fairly tall? Tall women often show later, they just have more room to accommodate baby without popping out. And it is her first baby (other than the early miscarriage years back), some people don't show much until 6 months or so. I hope the rumour others have posted about a miscarriage is wrong!

first time baby bumps are different with everyone — however women who tend to be tall and slender take a considerably longer time to develop a tummy. — Shorter women like Jessica Alba show sooner because there short torso doesn't leave much room for the baby to grow anyway but out.

Many of the comments said if you are skinny you don't show as soon. Quite the opposit. The skinner you are the sooner you show because the baby has no where else to go! I know, I'm very thin and showed at about 3/5 4 months with my daughter and am currently 4 months pregnant and showing. She looks to have a little roundness to her. I'd say shes three months.

Her breasts do not look like those of a pregnant woman and there should be more roundness by now in her belly and butt. Doesn't seem right from someone who has had 2 kids.

Remember the photo of her in the green silk shirt with the big bump and distended belly button? That was published in September when she supposedly 2-3 months pregnant. What was that all about?

Sadly, she probably is not eating as she should in an effort not to get fat. She already had 2 miscarriages, perhaps because she doesn't take care of herself. She is so cold and disinterested towards the 2 children she has and refers to them as her adopted children. People who adopt do not refer to their children as anything other than their children. I don't think she has a maternal bone in her body.
When you start to show depend on many factors. How strong your stomach muscles are, your weight, the size of the baby, your build, on and on.

i am 5 months and well into my 2nd trimester and ive only gained like 1.5pds from the baby, around this time the baby only weighs like 7oz so someone as tiny as her might have the same body structure as i do. its extremely healthy for you to be tiny for your 1st pregnancy. she wont start to show until shes like 7 months easy.
by the 12th week of pregnacy the uterus leaves the pelvis ….
by the 20th week it reaches the bellybottom…..

I'd say she is at least 4 or maybe even 5 months along. She's really thin and tall, so she can hide it well. Also, as thin as she is and in that dress, any tummy you see there is baby bump. Even if she's had a miscarriage in the past, she didn't carry it long enough to make her show quicker this time. By the time you're sure you are seeing a baby bump, she'll be about 7 months, I'd bet.

I live in Japan, just saw her on one of the morning shows. She kept mentioning her pregnacy (five months). Even the hosts of the show were surprised about how little she is showing. She said she had been resting for so long she was glad to get out and visit Tokyo with her family (Keith has never been to Japan) and promote the movie. She also said she got her mother's permission to fly…five months along being in the 'safe' zone.
That is the ugliest dress I think I have ever seen! She does have a little tummy….some women can go an entire pregnancy and never get very big… it is all unique to the specific woman.
