Nicole Kidman made a rare public appearance on Tuesday. The actress was in Tokyo to promote her film The Golden Compass, which was a dud in America.

nicole is long and slender as am I….I didn't start to get a bump until I was 7 months along…so we may have a ways til we start to see anything

when a woman is tall it takes a long time to show. I'm 5'10" and I didn't show at all until I was 7 months pregnant. It irritated the crap out of me, because I wanted a baby bump!!! I was so proud of being pregnant…but when you're very tall it doesn't show so fast.
You can see she has a small bump but she's so thin she can hide it a little. I would think within the next month she should start to pop a little.

No she is fine. I didnt start to be noticeably pregnant until I was abouy 7 months pregnant. She is tiny.
She has to be atleast 3 months if she admitted to being pregnant. It takes longer for tall people to show; especially pencil thin ones.
she has a little bump. most women with their first baby dont show right away. and when someone is thin it takes a little longer. with my baby i had a bump but didnt really show till 6 or 7 months and then it was just giant over night.
maybe she aborted it and is storing the stem cells for some cosmetic work in the future.
I can see a tiny bump in the second pic. You usually start to show 3 months in. I hope the rumor about the miscarriage isn't true. She deserves to be happy and have a baby!

Look closely at that picture. Her waist is thick and her stomach has rounded out against the front of the dress. Nicole was extremely thin when she became pregant and probably will not begin to show until she is at least 5 months. If she stays thin during her pregnancy, she will never look hugely pregnant. Some women have nearly flat stomachs for a good portion of their pregnancy and then all of a sudden will pooch out with baby tummy.

C'mon! You accused haggard old Katie Holmes-Cruise of being pregnant when her f***ing hipbones were poking out. Now when skeletal Nicole Kidman has a very slight belly at five months or so, you're wondering what's the matter with her. The first time you go full-term with a pregnancy, it doesn't show as much, especially if you're really, really tall and thin to begin with.

it depends on how skinny you are to be able to show that bump. Considering her size i would be surprised if she started showing at 4 months. But i would say 4-5 months. im 6 months and i'm way out there lol
Nic has alway kept her body in shape, so maybe she is one of the lucky women who won't show a lot.. plus she is super tall.

If you've ever noticed, Nicole (though flawless otherwise in all areas), has a slight swayback and her belly has always shown a little protrusion, particularly in a bikini. But, considering her height and slight build, it could take 5 months to really see a baby bump, inspite of the awayback condition. It sounds contrary, but it's true. See pictures of her in a bikini and you'll notice her defect right on.

It starts to show low after a few months. And then gradually expands up and outwards.
Since she is a tall woman she may not show until her 4th or 5th month. I wish her all the happiness. So glad she got away from the freak that is Tom Cruise.

She has said to be 4 months. I did not show until I was 5 months but I was not as tiny as she is to start. I think that we should be seeing something soon.
I think it is the dress. Never know though. I didn't start showing until I was about 5 or 6 months along. I'm tall but not as thin as Nicole…she is too skinny. You'd figure she would be popping by now!
If its a womans first pregnancy, its usually not until around the 3rd to 4th month that they start to get that beautiful bump. I am about 5'10" and very lean. I didn't start to really show till almost my 5th month. Nicole is also very tall and lean, so she might also show later on than most women. It really depends on the weight and height of the woman, and if its a single or multiple birth pregnancy.
ITS DISGUSTING THAT THIS OLD WOMAN IS PREGNANT. PEOPLE HER AGE SHOULD BE GRANDMOTHERS, NOT MOTHERS.

generally, women begin to show a bump around 4-5 months; that is the beginning to the middle of the second trimester. it appears that Nicole has a slight bump judging by the second photo. I'd say she's approximately 4-5 months along in her pregnancy. ps… if she had a nother miscarriage, believe me, we'd have heard about it. the rumors are false, and were created based upon her previous miscarriage with t.c. sincerely~ faTcaT in VeGaS!

Usually, if it's a woman's first child, it takes longer for her to start showing…but I am pregnant and didn't start showing until about 18 weeks..showing to where other people would notice that is…I could notice but other people couldn't see it through my clothes

Face it. Tall women or those with long torsos do not show until they are further along. Babies are all about the same size give or take a pound. Even at nine months she will be proportionally smaller than the shorter ladies. I am so happy for her!!!
It is so sad that she is so vain and so anorexic that she would put her unborn baby in danger by obviously not gaining one pound. At 5 months pregnant she should have some sort of bump or something. So very sad, that poor child is probably starving. Would also be nice if she would admit to IVF.

Nicole has stated in several interviews that she had 2 miscarriages. That is when they adopted their two children. It's funny how she never mentions them anymore.
Everyone talks about how thin Angelina Jolie is, but Nicole is just an thin. Look at how thin her WHITE legs are!

Everyone is always saying she will be a first-time mother. She never corrects them. She and Tom adopted both of their children when they were tiny infants so she has had babies to take care of….well supposedly she took care of them. It's sad when adopted children are not counted in a family by others.
As far as her "bump", well she is soooo thin, it will take a while to show because even at 3 months, a fetus is the size of golf ball. It will start growing pretty fast now.

i didn't have any bumbs or questions of being preggers till I was near six months. I was able to even pull off not being pregnant till late in the 7th. I was really toned and ate right and fit and she has an amazing body. It could be that she isn't far enough along yet. I hope so

First off Perezass, just how far along is she? As alot of people here have said you don't start showing right away. And The Compass may have been weak at the American box office but Internationally it has made ass loads of money. And that is why is a high paid actress. Julia Roberts last movie didn't make that much in the USA and didn't make Shit overseas.

In response to baker #353. I don't think it's the parents who pretend the kids don't exist, it's the media. People are fasinated wondering what celebs kids will look like. Not as much fun when they are adopted. Oh and then they call them things like "Potato Head" and "Rasin face" LOL
