Is Paramore Breaking Up????

Uh oh! We hope not.
The band has just cancelled the remainder of their European tour and posted the following ominous message on their official blog:
"Hey guys,
As most of you already know, we have cancelled the rest of our UK/Europe RIOT Tour. First of all, we want to say we are so sorry for letting all of you down. We feel terrible about it and really didn’t expect for this to happen. It probably doesn’t sound like much but we just hate that we won’t get to play this show for those of you who had hoped to see it.
There are a lot of internal issues that have been going on in this band for quite a while now. A lot of it started right around the time we were gearing up for the RIOT Tour in the US. We were able to fight through all of it for this long but unfortunately we weren’t able to keep it together long enough to make it through ’til the end of this tour. We really feel that taking this time is going to give us a chance to get away and work out our personal issues at home and on our own terms. We just aren’t willing to risk the life of our band over one tour. That probably sounds terrible right now, to say that finishing a week of shows wasn’t worth it… but if we can use this next month wisely then we will be a lot healthier for the tours ahead. We hope that - even though it might be hard to understand - that you guys can support us at this time.
Maybe one day we will tell the whole story but for now, just know that all five of us are going to work so hard to get it right. You deserve that and we deserve to make this last as long as possible - and to enjoy every second of it. We love you guys so much. If you could pray for us or just keep us in your thoughts it would be really helpful. You guys have gotten us so far and been the best motivators since day one. We are so sorry for the trouble we caused you guys who bought tickets, fan club members and to all the promoters and venues that we won’t be there to put on a show for. We are extremely sorry to New Found Glory and all their fans who wanted to put on and see a show and who we’ve let down. And lastly, to Lost Alone.

I think Hayley will go solo, she's got such a good voice but i really hope they dont split up. I've only ust got into their music about 3 months ago but i'm guessing Hayley probably split with the guitarist guy and thats why its gone wrong

I was so upset when I read about this. I really, really hope they can work things out. On their myspace they're still scheduled to go on tour with Jimmy Eat World, so hopefully it's just a short hiatus.

even people who claim to be in the know don't. Atlantic got FBR to sign Paramore so they could have the singer once she built up a huge fan base. The fact that they are mentioned on here and Perez likes them prooves they are popular and trendy. Atlantic is probably ready to take her with hired guns, and not her friends, and make them big. The foundation of Paramore and why they were signed is the worst kept secret in the history of mall emo.
Their band is put together by the record label. They took a girl who could sing and basically added a backup band…..
For all of you that don't know. That's why they are having troubles…..it's the "avri" effect with the guise of a real band. Stil a good band, but a put together, manufactured band.
that doesn't sound so much like they're breaking up, as that one or more members of the band are seriously ill/unhealthy and would be risking their lives to keep performing every night. i hope they're all okay!!

To be honest, I could see Hayley going solo and she would probably be more successful on her own. There has already been reported tension between her and the rest of the band, particularly with the lead guitarist who has been insisting to the media that Paramore is not just Hayley.
And, you know, Hayley could possibly fill the void that Avril left behind when she succumbed to "LA disease" and turned herself into yet another blond bimbo pop star. Hayley genuinely seems to be nicer than Avril, and I hope she stays that way if she does go solo.

Ask Hunter Lamb about dear old Hayley Williams and the "internal problems". She's a self-serving little diva wannabe who unceremoniously dumped him from the band (then lied about the conditions of his exit) because she didn't think he "measured up" to her standards. He put in a lot of hard times and road time with them and played his heart out helping them to get to where they are now and his reward was a huge stab in the back.

I really honestly doubt that they are breaking up. I think that they may be getting home sick and miss their family and friends back home. OR maybe something happened in their personal lives that they don't want to share with the world. I think that they just need some time off and people should stop being up all in their face (MTV) and leave them alone, cause you never know whats going to happen, they could happen out live Nirvana. MAYBE they are too young to have all this fame. I think people should just lay off of them. But yet again it could be one and a million things.

Okay, first of all, they started out six years ago in Franklin Tennesse. They started as a christian band when Hayley was thirteen. It seems that you have no idea what you're talking about.

I think they are just really tired and have been constantly touring for over 2 years, if you were in that position don’t u think you’d need a bit of a break from those people for like a month? its not that they don’t love what they do and love each other but I think its better for them to take a short break now and cancel a few shows, and even though people are going to be upset (and I know what it feels like cause I had to wait so long for them to come to Australia and then they cancelled the first time) than to go on with the tour and risk their friendship and the band.
They are strong! They will come back fresh and better than ever!

theyve been touring since last year nonstop, i think theyre simply taking a break. and they deserve one. They are so dedicated to their fans and to what they do, they need to go home and take care of themselves for a while. Theyre still young and have so much to learn about themselves and i think the fame is becoming overwhelming ( mainly all these rumors) and all of u bad mouthers arent helping much!
