Ashlee Simpson's Timbaland-produced single Outta My Head failed to catch on at radio, so they're going a different route.
The singer's record label ditched Head and is rush-releasing new single Lil' Miss Obsessive.
This song has her boyfriend Pete Wentz's fingerprints all over it! And it's much much better. It feels more organic.
A power pop/rock anthem, the song features Tom from Plain White Ts singing beautiful harmonies with Simpson.
It's a really pretty song we're not ashamed to like. And we think it will do very well for Asslee on radio.

i think kelly clarkson is way better talented, looking, and a better role model. at least shes not half plastic like ashlee. never again was a great song, just dumb people never caught on to how great it was, and my december is her best, most personal album to date……..and her 4th CD that comes out will be even better, and she'll be back on top of the charts…AGAIN……so take that skanks……ashlee is the has-been

I think the song is great, but I am truly ashamed to admit it! I have met Ashlee from being on 7th Heaven and she is one big BIOTCH! She was only on the show for a little while, but she still felt like she deserved the royal treatment. I dislike her very much! She even tried having ME change her toilet seat so she wouldn't have to sit where someone else did, but I was an extra, not HER friggin secretary!!

I loved this song… It's a little different than her other stuff, but that is what makes it good. i liked Outta My Head too. I think I like her more now than I did before. Her music has changed. I don't get why you little teenie boppers don't like her. Oh yeah, I know why, it's because she is dating Pete Wentz. You shouldn't judge people on who they date. It's the music that matters.
well i love it, and i think their voices mesh well and it all sounds really great together, though i do agree that it does have some serious Pete Wentz influence on it.
Perez. There are millions of girls out there who would have done better with just *one* of the chances this girl has gotten to prove herself in almost every type of entertainment venue. Why does she keep getting media attention? Why are you playing her instead of thousands of other unsigned, signed, indie, even pop artists who could use the exposure? She's got nothing. The part "Little Miss obsessive" sounds too much like Kelly Clarkson's Miss Independent line. I have been singing Miss Independent all day because of it.
