I wonder how many of you actually watched the debate. She said a lot more than that–including a spectacularly tacky 'xerox' comment that was booed. For much of the time, she failed to actually address the questions that were aimed at her reluctance to say to Barack's face what she's been saying on the campaign trail. All in all, she is really quite fake and hypocritical.
Furthermore, I'll bet that Perez, in his infinite wisdom, didn't know that much of her final answer was 'plagiarized' from John Edwards.
she's not honored, she is PISSED- and she is filling out those divorce papers from Bill RIGHT NOW in preparation for the day after the election. Class act, my ass. Hillary is a vicious machine. Obama is a daydreamer who doesn't even know where the bathrooms are in the White House. The dems got two losers this time. You will PAY dearly for this- the young people in this country will never make a dime now- every pay raise you get will increase your taxes. I find it extremely sad and pathetic that not only HIllary's "shining moment" at the end were paraphrased plagiarism of John Edwards, but how she used the wounded veterans to show how supposedly empathic she is.
She was partly responsible for those wounds; those w/skin burns, no legs, no arms, no eyes, PTSD, suicides, and outright deaths of our soldiers, Iraqi civilians b/c of the illegal pre-emtive doctrine that she supported.
If Dodd, Biden, and Edwards can admit they made a mistake for their vote to "Authorize the use of Force in Iraq", then why can't HIllary?
I looked closely at Obama right after the debate and saw a very stressed out man who looked defeated. As he signed autographs Obama looked worried and preoccupied. He seems like a guy biting off more than he can chew. America is in crisis and I think deep down he realizes he can't really handle it.
Hilliary, on the other hand looked and sounded like a confident winner. As the crowd jumped to their feet after she gave a fantastic inspirational heartfelt closing remark, I could not believe my ears. The CNN bitch leading the debate says…….the crowd is giving Hilliary and Obama a standing ovation.
WHAT A CROCK! The ovation was for clearly for her.
This is just another example at how the press has been promoting Obama and dissing Hilliary every step of the way since the beginning of the campaign.
Murky questionable things about Obama past are left unexamined while the media walks on eggshells…not daring to raise hard questions.
Only the bloggers who care about exposing the truth about Obama are doing the questioning. The press has been treating Obama with kid gloves and Hillary with boxing gloves. Nearly every election related article from the begining has been titled and slanted in a way detrimental to Hillary and favorably to Obama.
Obama will lose to Mccain because next to McCain he is a weak inexperienced man. Kerry was 17% ahead of Bush before the Republican convention. When it is in the best interests of the conservative media to tear down Obama as November nears, we will see this preacher's popularity go into a free fall. There is a lot for them to use against him and since it is not getting out now it sure as hell will later.
Hillary is the best choice. She can beat McCain in Nov. She is his peer and more than his equal which can not be said for Obama.
To all the REAL men who have supported Hillary, I thank you for looking beyond gender and realizing that a strong woman is to be admired, not feared. To ALL the wonderful women like myself, who are wise and above cattiness, I applaud your dedicated support. Hi Perez, you don't have to post this but are you aware of the large story looming about Larry Sinclair on YouTube? I'm assuming you are and maybe you already posted his video months ago. I might have missed it. I've been reading that blog all day and it seems something is coming out soon and the Larry supporters are pushing the MSM to cover this since it has so many questioning whether it is true. There are over 11,000 comments and YouTube seems to be suppressing the hits of the video - it's count was at around 460,000 but it should be over a million. Bill O'Reilly last night hinted that a story about a "major" Democat is being ignored on purpose by the MSM (it might be this Larry Sinclair story, I don't know). This was in response to the NYT covering the McCain affair with no real proof. I know you don't want to piss off all of your Obama fans, who are mean and immature. Maybe you already know all of this is coming out soon and will reveal it once someone covers it first?

I think the only reason a couple of tears didn’t show up during the last speech is because her face was so confused from her eyes shooting darts and her mouth being forced to smile.

I don't think her comments were in any way heartfelt. Rather, that they were a political calculation; a contrivance to make her appear more palatable to those among the undecided who may be swayed her way by a bit of “niceness.”
That she hearkened back to her tearful moment in NH (”people ask me how I do it, how I keep going…”), alluded to her “tough times” with a philandering husband and then proceeded to deliver her “but we’ll be fine” soliloquy was more slimy political maneuvering to milk the sympathy card than I could reasonably stomach.
The question here is why isn't the MSM covering this large story - it is all over the internet but not on the news channels on television? Why would they cover the McCain story which was not verified or proven by the NYTimes? Why would they cover the Bill Clinton infidelity stor(ies) before they were proven? Why wouldn't they interview this Larry Sinclair too? That's all I'm saying. If Obama is all for equality, we want equal coverage of all the stories on television.

The cold, calculating ruthless Queen-machine is at it again! This debate was their last secret weapon. First they clamored on the negative TV ads to make sure they get the debate. Next they strategized the game plan like a football coach or a long distance runner would. Just like the tears in NH, she wanted to consolidate her core white women (& some men) vote. We Americans do respond to a ‘heartfelt cry for help’. So she mentions soldiers she voted to send to Iraq and boom! suddenly she's viewed as compassionate!
Since we’re all dissecting Clinton’s closing, here are my thoughts.
1. Obama was equally gracious towards her in his opening remarks, as others have noted.
2. Clinton’s saying “when people ask me how I do it…” was a blatant and robotic effort to recreate the pre-NH moment that elicited sympathy and votes.
3. She plagiarized John Edward's comments and included a line from the movie "Primary Colors".
Like the Xerox remark, this was scripted and calculating. Please let’s not swoon over Clinton on the assumption it was anything else.

first of all, i never said anything about you voting for obama. you can vote for whomever you choose. but perhaps the reason i, and other obama supporters get so "angry" is that people act as if barack is just this random, well spoken guy who came out of nowhere and leans on his ability to inspire as a sole crutch to get by. as "hillary supporters are unfair," noted, it seems like some people seem to think hillary has a monopoly on "experience," as if such a monopoly could actually exist. you say you know his record, and what he's done? then why try to discredit his experience, the service he's provided to his constituents, and all the legislation he's brought to fruition by saying something like "what has he done before?"

Obama did cocaine in Chicago in the back of a limo with Larry Sinclair in 1999. By the way, on Feb 5th in NY at 4 poll sites there were Obama supporters outside with signs and pamplets like 5 feet from the door, which is ILLEGAL. I was a poll site worker, and even on my lunch break, I had to talk to police to get them to move, since the Obama supporters refused to move otherwise. From the top down, this guy is dishonest and runs a dirty campaign. I did not see Hillary supporters doing illegal campaigning at any poll site in Manhattan. Obama makes me sick, he is the phony one, not Hillary.

i didn't like what hillary said about cuba. obama's plans to communicate with cuba are much more diplomatic and definitely needed. hillary wants to "wait" to talk to fidel's brother…she needs a sign, proof that cuba wants to be a democracy. it's that sense of arrogance that she displays that will continue to distance the US from other countries. that's one of the MANY reasons why i'm voting OBAMA.

Obama copied/ripped off Hillary's (economic) stimulus package. He also would sit down with leaders of rogue nations (I believe best is not to talk to them, not to give them any recognition, whatsoever) Hillary is the only candidate who would not withdraw from Iraq but keep a small force and change the mission, not as combat troops but to stabilize. This is good. Shouldn't stay there but can't not make a second mistake of leaving a mess behind either.
