First of all, you don't 'imbibe' botox, you have it injected. I still don't get this whole botox fad…do people not realize that botox even stands for Botulism Toxin? Botulism is the bacteria that can grow in food that is poorly packaged, such as vegetables in cans that aren't sealed correctly. Normal botulism leads to paralysis and eventual death when not treated - hence how botox paralyzes muscles in the face to give you that 'young' look. It really makes no sense to me. Why anyone thinks that's a good idea is beyond me…

The reason so many people use botox is because of gossip columns like this- one bad day for a celeb and they're pronounced over the hill and then you go look at yourself in the mirror and think Oh NO she's over the hill and looks so much better than I do! and run to the dermatologist.

Botox injections have a very bad impact on your skin - it's a deadly bacteria and the effect will show sooner or later. I'd like to see how she gonna look like in 10 years - I prefer getting older like all the normal people do rather than having some shit injected in my skin.
everyone knows vanessa has always had "crater" skin, she has always admitted it, hence the "proactive" advertisement. She looks good but I always knew she would never age well. Yes, black skin tends to age much better than white skin, but if you have really bad skin to begin with like hers it does not matter what color you are

I just bumped into a middle age woman I know whose been botoxing for at least 5 years and she looks like a cross between a puppet and a blowfish. So keep botoxing Vanessa and you too can enjoy the long term effects of injecting poison into your face.

I think the idiots who are spitefully saying that's she's aged badly are pretty out of line. How you age, unless you've had way too much exposure to the sun or done a lot of drugs, is pretty much based on genetics. Botox has only been shown to have serious consequences in treating patients with cerebal palsy, where the doses are large enough to paralyze the breathing of individuals.
