HA HA HA! I know what the folks in Detroit were doing instead of watching the lame ass Oscars. Foo Fighters were in town.

Lately movies have been shit. Is Hollywood running out of movie ideas? I have see some very shitty movies lately. Snooze……………….. Also, where are all the good actors? You know: the glamourous ones who have great acting skills and only choose good movies to do. There were no actors that I can be bothered to watch this shit and get excited about. Nope, it's all about the money these days. I know that Jews love money but with their greed they're making this world into a very miserable place.
im not surprised one freakin bit..it was BORING. there were no good performances. not that the people who did perform were bad or anything, but you wanna hear some hit songs, not just broadway stuff especially if you're not even into that. they should've had timberland or rihanna or even madonna perform or something..anything to keep the show interesting! i watched for about an hour or so, got bored, then went on perezhilton.com to see the fashion comments lmao

It's such a shame because I thought it was the funniest Oscar broadcast since Billy Crystal hosted. John Stewart was great and I hope they bring him back.
It's because Americans are sick of Hollywood and these stupid actors shoving their politics down are throats, Hollywood cares more for foreign markets then it does for the American audience, that's why they did 10 to 12 movies this year that portray our brave soldiers as evil or our government as evil or a movies where they kill the President, they are want apesce foreign audiences, they don't give a shit about what happens to America since most of then are a bunch of left wing losers who barely finched high school but what to direct our country's foreign policy, like they did in the Carter years, how well did that turn out for America. It was no surpize that no American act won an Oscar, they all went to foreign actors tells who they are making movies for. American's understand self concisely that Hollywood is not routing for America, thats why none of this movies make money here and that's why we couldn't give a shit about who wins their awards they like to hand out to each to remind how great they are.

People who dont watch assume it's all actors getting awards and all. But most of the winners were NOT the 'high paid, priviledged'.
But then they got to make the show shorter! Cut the editing/mixing/cinematograghy/short subject prizes. But if they do that no presenters??
BTW: This ear of 1 min on you tube will make any TV show obsolete, so why assume the Oscars are a 'dinosaur'.

I watched and it was so booorrrring. Horrible musical numbers. Dull acceptance speeches. John Stewart not so funny. It seemed really off this year. The theater looked so small and the event seemed so inconsequential. The strike was over and we were promised an Oscar extravaganza. Didn't get it.

I actually watched the whole thing for the first time in ages. Sas that an ackward kiss Daniel Day-Lewis planted on George Clooney, or was it just me?
I enjoyed watching it, especially all the bits of reminiscence that were thrown in. Makes me want to start an oscar movie club and watch the last 80 years movies of the year winners once a week with a group of friends.
Of course, everyone is sick of hollywood and it elitist bullshit attitude. Why do think movie sales have been falling over the past few years? We’re sick of seeing our religious beliefs and way lives scorned and ridiculed. And we,re sick of seeing immoral life styles held up as the norm and something to be admired.

What do you expect? It was a bunch of artsy fartsy European films and movie stars. I hardly recognized any of the nominees outside of Johnny Depp, Daniel Day Lewis and Laura Linney and that's only cause they're among my favorites!
