I used to love Mariah Carey. Does anyone remember the 90s? When her voice was awesome and her songs fun? And she wasn't always naked? I understand the need to be sexy. But WHY does every single thing she does HAVE to be so over-the-top, with the facial expressions and the cleavage and the short skirts??? She is heading toward being 40 years old - a little dignity SOME times would not hurt, would it? Who does she think bought her records that made her a star? My generation of females, that's who. And it's like she has turned her backs on us. Sexiness is fine, but it's better when it's empowering, like Madonna or Mary J. Blige. Mariah seems like just a bunch of pretty fluff with an empty head and too much Botox. It's upsetting to see this in someone so talented, someone who doesn't need to sink to such levels every time, because she has a real voice.

It's so sad that someone so vocally talented as Mariah doesn't have the brains to grow as an artist. Her music isn't progressing and the lyrics to this song are stupid. While it's questionnable for any artist near or above Mariah's age to use the sex-toy gimmick to sell, some do it better than others (Janet most recently). Mariah's "come hither" is almost always a misfire — too little clothes and usually too much Moo-riah. At least, she looks thinner now, but c'mon… a plaid, pleated school girl skirt. Sad. Truly sad. Can't wait for the next tour to see what swimwear or lingerie she takes the stage in this time.
