I have to say that was really bad. Why would she do feedback when the song flopped at radio. I guess that was the only thing she had a tired dance routine for. I mean really Janet, if you are going to do something half ass, then just sit that fat ass on the sofa and stay there. That was useless. I am a former fan of janet but she lost me after the velvet rope and all for you. The last two albums were crap and this one is no better. Time to just stop.

Thank you so much for that video…I'm at work so I wasn't able to watch the performance on GMA this morning. I'm happy to see she hasn't lost a step…BTW her mic didn't mysteriously come on in the middle of Feedback it was on the entire time, its low but if you listen you can hear her breathing into the mic as she's mouthing the words during her lipsyncing. I've noticed she does that from her past concerts, just to keep up the illusion she's actually singing. If you hear her breathing you might think she's actually singing but she's singing maybe 2% of the time during that performance, and I'm probably being generous with that figure. I'm a huge Janet fan, since I came from the womb…Thanks again for the post, and congrats on the possible A&R gig, I hope everything works out for you.
i enjoyed it–janet was never known for her voice and it does irritate me that with her and virtually everyone out there today, you can't understand a damn word they sing or lip synch. but she was/is always a good entertainer–better dancer than singer, but overall puts on a great show. if you didn't know her age, most wouldn't be hating on her…

Same Sh**, new album. The dances and music style are exactly the same as every other album she's ever put out, including the lipsynching. Ugh. Those dance moves were stale in the '80s after Michael used them for Thriller. Why is this album-or her career- still such a big deal????
I am sorry did you all bump your heads? This was good? Okay lets first review her Asslee simpson moment where SHE was singing but uhh..the tape was not. Next, WHY is a 40 something year old woman donning a raggedy ann hairdo and attempting to dance like a 19 year old? I am sorry but in my opinion, she looked like an ad for I HAVE FALLEN AND I CANT GET UP AND NOW I AM HAVING A SEIZURE. The most obivous thing here? JANET loves JANET more than ANY fan could ever. That fake soft voice sickens me. That false humility sickens me. And the music SUCKS. She did not pull through like Cher or Madonna. She is lipsyncing. I know someone who worked on her tour and when ever she wears the headset mic, she's not singing. She only sings when she had the handheld mic. This is straight from her audio tech.

The only song Janet lip-synched was on Feedback, but That's the Way Love Goes, and Rock With U she sung live. Maybe you guys need to listen again. I'm not saying she's the greatest vocalist hell she never was, but she only lipped one song.
I love Janet; but she looked as though she had on suit of armour, not wanting any wardrobe malfunctions. I would have been insulted. She looks great but some of the moves are hard to look at on a 42, almost, year old woman. The strutting across the stage like Beyonce' talking and the sitting in the rocking chair (might as well had been) for the beginning of "That's the Way Love Goes" sorry but it looked like the old lady had to sit down and catch her breath. I am not going to lie; growing older and looking great is wonderful!! But there are still some things that let everyone know that I am 42.

Um, if you listen closley you can hear she is singing LIVE. She has the backing track so you can get her vocals plus those robotic altered vocals that are on the original record. Janet always sings live, she just sometimes has a backing track when she has alot of dancing to do. I dont know why you guys are all hating. And as for Thats the way Love goes, thats not the same arrangement from the 90s, when the music first started for the performanc, i didnt even realize what song it was because the LIVE band sounded different. As for her vocals, she sang live on this too, she has backup singers though, just like every Live performer. Stop hating losers.
