All I can remember Adnan saying on TV was that he truly wanted to help Brit Brit and get her away from the paps, move her back to her mom's home, etc. He never bashed the family and was always very sympathetic to her situation.

I am not one of Adnan's fans, but something I really hate has been done over and over by some posters. First, they get racial and then they call him ugly. The racial remarks are uncalled for, because if he were white, he'd still be an asshat. And as for ugly, he is far from ugly. I think people are calling him that because they perceive his actions to be ugly.

Britney's dad is tolerating Adnan — that doesn't mean he likes it. He's doing a good job as a dad and conservateur — trying not to keep Britney prisoner, yet protecting her. Pushing Adnan out might be a battle that costs too much right now. He needs to give Britney at least a little sense of her own autonomy. The important battles right now are securing Britney's visits with her kids and helping her be consistent with her meds. and therapy. Plus, better to have Adnan visit in the house rather than to have Britney trying to sneak off because she feels like a prisoner.
