He was rude to this little girl, but I really think he needs hearing aids and got frustrated when he couldn't hear her. I thought his answer (finally) to her question was pretty right on tho.
He was just being matter-of-fact. She was mumbling and messing up the question. The kid's gotta learn sometime that speaking clearly and using proper English will get you a lot farther than sounding like you have a giant wad of gum in your mouth. And he was spot-on in his criticism of young, messed-up "celebrities." Honesty does not automatically equal rudeness.

Re: tasty – Agree to disagree I suppose, the only way an 11 year old wouldn't know about is going on with "Britney" or "Lindsay" is if she were to be locked in a basement. It is inevitable for teens these days to know what people in the public eye are doing. I am not saying its right for an 11 year old to be at one of these parties, I just think he should have been a little more polite about not being able to hear her, she maybe young but not an idiot.

It was on a tv — a biography type show — several years ago and wish I could remember the details. I loved the movie Silver Bullet and was really put off to him when I heard him make that comment. I think it was maybe a VH1 celeb biography or something similar if I recall it covered his accident and drug addiction. Surely I am not the only one to remember his wierd remark . I truly wish someone would look it up and substantiate it. Maybe he's not a child molestor but it was definately an odd thing for a grown man to say (especially on camera) don't you think?

We say speak up all day long.When you talk to someone they must hear you. Gary Busey is a loser. He has done so many drugs. If you ask any person who has worked with him they would agree. His X-wife Tatriana (spell???) was abused by him. I am not a fan of Gary's, but do have to say that it is really noisy and the girl was not speaking loud enough and when she did she kept screwing up the question and it would be very annoying to have to deal with it..but he should have used a lil more "class" when dealing with someone of that age and he answer to her question was right on the mark…..but abusive….NO

He wasn't abusive, and he started out kindly. She needed to go and rethink her non-question, and rephrase it so that it doesn't simply sound like a generic, unspecific plea for dirt. She may become a more concise interviewer upon review, and there are a thousand more worthwhile questions she could have asked Busey had she done any research at all beforehand. He has survived a terrible accident and comeback; has been in the business for years, and is actually a willing, interesting and easy chat. Birth by fire; and if she's old enough to be given a mic, she's old enough to formulate interesting and certainly more intelligent questions.

I know she's only 11 but surely if she's going to be on tv somebody behind those executive doors could have either found some1 better or trained her. When he asked her to repeat the question, she couldn't even do it properly, and plus what's with the 'um and like'…She shouldn't be on broadcasting~*** ^^*

I am sure if she talked to him about his achievements in the movie industry, he would be more receptive.
