Tilly and the Wall are from OMAHA, NEBRASKA. Not Kansas City. And there are some really great bands from both cities. Which ties into..
Second most:
The video is made by Cody Critcheloe and Drew Bolton from the Ssion, who ARE from Kansas City. Cody Critcheloe's current goal is making the GAYEST MUSIC and MUSIC VIDEOS POSSIBLE, both seriously and semi humorously. If you look up any of the current Ssion videos you will see what I mean.
So yes, this video is over the top. And I can guarantee you they one hundred percent meant it to be that way.

I'm sorry. Are any of you actually Bjork? …What's that? No? So how could you know what she likes? She might love it, she might hate it, but I really think it's absurd that there is any debate over whether she does or doesn't. tilly and the wall were always very bubbly and poppy, but this is complete SHIT. i had no idea they had a new album coming out, and the fact that they abandoned their innovative tap dancing in favor of electric drums is bullshit. listen to their first two albums, and then maybe you'll understand what this band was what they are all about when they were good. i doubt that they released this crap on saddle creek, because if they did i have lost all respect for what was once one of the best indie labels of all time. if you are going to use your influence to expose musical talent, you should probably do some more research rather than catapulting shit like this into the world, and giving little tweenies the wrong impression of what good music can actually be. perez, you should have no part in the music industry as your opinions are poisonous and your taste in music as displayed so far is utterly shitty. there is no other word. shitty. not that the music industry even exists any more anyway. you're getting into a dying business.

perez is not supporting good omaha music. with the exception of cursive and two gallants, none of the saddle-creek/team love bands put out anything worth anything anymore. i would think one of derek's other bands, flamboyant gods, would be more perez's style, although I guess you can't really masturbate with fried chicken grease to it.

I've listened to Tilly and the Wall for a few years now. I love this video. However, I wish they'd show off their tap dancer a little more on their newer stuff.
