Happened to me in my pregnancy…wish they had stayed that way, but they went back to original size =)….not everything is of a suspicious origin…LOL. Lots of people have opinions on what is the "norm" for a pregnant woman but everyone is different and go through different things.
Your lips don't swell because of pregnancy and if you put on weight you don't get fat lips.

When I was preggers, I gained 50 lbs each time and got fat EVERywhere, but NOT my lips!!! My nose, yes, unfortunately. Just so you know, when you are pregnant your lips get fuller. So do your other "private" lips. Not info a gay man would ever know. The lips (both) are due to increase in blood volume, fluids increase in body.
pregnant women, especially with a first pregnancy, can develope a potentially life threatening condition called Pre-Eclampsia. One of the symptoms is swelling of the hands, face and feet. That is fluid building up in the body. Toxic fluid. It can cause dangerously high blood pressures and organ failure. The next level of pre-eclampsia is eclampsia, wich is coma and death. I had pre-eclampsia during my first pregnancy and my lips did the very same thing. It is nothing to laugh about.
