Ashlee Simpson stopped by Fuse yesterday to promote her new album on The Sauce and the "singer" was sporting some interesting hardware on her engagement finger!
When asked by the show's host about the diamond ring on her left hand, she immediately joked that "no she was not pregnant" but yes, it was a promise ring from boyfriend Pete Wentz.
A promise to never fart in her face? A promise to never use her beauty products? The promise of a new day? Vibeology!
Careful not to upset Dad/Manager Joe Simpson, who was in the studio, Ass clarified: "It just means that he hasn't asked my Dad yet…"

I think her hair looks fab and she has outdone her sister by far already. So what if they want to get married etc? There's no need to be so negative about her when she has done ok for herself.

I absolutely love Fall Out Boy and Pete Wentz is my hero. I'm not too fond of Ashlee Simpson, for different reasons, not just because she's dating Pete Wentz, my futre husband, lol. But honestly, as much as I may think Pete can do a whole lot better, I think they both look absolutely adorable together. I have to admit I feel she is very pretty. I have been with Fall Out Boy and I have been a huge fan of Pete since they started, and Pete is happy! I mean, the lyrics he wrote went from "die, die die" to "im finally happy". In 2003, hw went from lyrics like "Let's play this game called 'when you catch fire, i wouldnt piss to put you out'", off of Take This to Your Grave. Now, they're newest album (Infinity on High) has lyrics like "Me and you, setting in our honeymoon, if I woke up next to you", from their song "I'm Like a Lawyer". Pete is the most kind and amazing person I know of. I don't know how long their relationship will last, but I'm pushing for them.
