Yup, Prince Harry is fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan. And the ginger royal is is receiving praise for his exemplary work.
General Sir Richard Dannatt, the chief of general staff, said in a statement that Prince Harry "has been fully involved in operations and has run the same risks as everyone else in his Battlegroup. In common with all of his generation in the Army today, he is a credit to the nation."

"In deciding to deploy him to Afghanistan, it was my judgment that with an understanding with the media not to broadcast his whereabouts, the risk in doing was manageable," continued General Dannatt.
Now that Prince Harry's whereabouts have been made public, army bosses are considering sending him back to the U.K.
General Dannatt continues, "Now that the story is in the public domain, the Chief of Defense Staff and I will take advice from the operational commanders about whether his deployment can continue. I now appeal to the media to restrain from attempting to report Prince Harry's every move and return to our understanding."
"I am very disappointed that foreign Web sites have decided to run this story without consulting us. This is in stark contrast to the highly responsible attitude that the whole of the U.K. print and broadcast media, along with a small number of overseas, who have entered into an understanding with us over the coverage of Prince Harry on operations."

case and point? the plea from perez for michelle williams and their family to have privacy while they came to new york while in mourning after heath ledgers death. this blog wrote that only AFTER other media outlets avoided posting and publicizing her while in mourning. in actuality…right when she came to new york, this site had a pic of her in the car arriving at his apt. we saw it within a few moments of it being posted and then it was taken down and never mentioned as the blogger sounted saintlike in his plea for their privacy.

I don't see why (1) "royalty" gets special treatment compared to other soldiers, and (2) why the media should lie to protect "royalty." They're still lying - do you really think he killed a nice round number like "30 Taliban"? And how does the media - which admits it was lying to protect him - know that they were Taliban? The Taliban doesn't always wear uniforms. If he called in air strikes….those bombs could have hit others as well. But we'll never know who they hit, because the media lies to protect royalty. Or perhaps they do know, but it sounds a bit unpatriotic to say, "Harry, the brave boy prince, killed 11 possible Talib fighters and 6 others, wounding 14 (2 of whom may have died due to lack of infrastructure and medicine), and also destroyed a house, killing 7 civilians, including two children, and seriously burning a grandmother who died two days later, bringing the total to 8."
