Mischa Barton has a been approached to join the cast of Gossip Girl.

The show seems FINE as it is.

Are the producers thinking that Mischa is going to have a Heather Locklear effect on the show?
Sorry…we don't think Mischa can do for Gossip Girl what Heather Locklear did for Melrose Place. No chance at all.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gossip Girl will never be the same if she joins the cast! NO NO NO NO! I don't even want her to do a cameo (spelling?). Just leave the damn show the way it is. I have been looking foward to it coming back to TV and this news is NOT good. The Gossip Girl cast is fantastic AS IS and the writing is fabulous!!
aw i think she could be good. Her character got to be annoying on The OC but I still think she is a decent actress.

She would have played an amaaazing Georgina Sparks. In the books, Georgina was a girl that met Nate in rehab and she ended up being a nutjob!! Mischa woulda played that great.
