Desperate Housewives has resumed production and they are busy at work trying to add new faces to their current cast.
Spicing things up!
As we mentioned earlier this week, the casting agents at Desperate Housewives are trying to raise the ratings and keep people watching. They've resorted to adding new cast members to spice things up, like The O.C.'s Chris Carmack.
Now, new reports are surfacing that Academy Award nominated actress Julianne Moore will appear in upcoming episodes.
Julianne will play Bree's sister (naturally) and is scheduled to appear in three episodes, including the season finale.
Two redheads on Desperate Housewives? Hot!
But even with all the new characters, will U still want to watch?

Now if LiLo would go red again she could get a job as another Bree family member and then she'd be working again! I saw Georgia Rule yesterday and let me just say that LiLo could use a good script!
I stopped watching that show awhile back. Could someone please tell me whatever happened with Bree's gay son that hated her so much? Last I saw she dumped him out on the side of the road to fend for himself.
I'm excited for it to come back! I think that Season two of DH really lagged and lost a lot of viewers, but in the two most recent seasons it has been so much better.
If Julianne Moore plays Bree's sister - yes.

Re: Kay – He was a homeless kid who performed "services" for distinguished male members of the community in order to get money for food. Then Her new husband found him in a dumpster and convinced him to come home, and he has changed so much that he is actually a good kid. He's one of my favorite characters, cause his sarcasm and cunning are still there, he just uses them for better causes now.
WOW, she looks incredibly pretty….amazing what photo-shop, make-up and plastic surgery can do to your looks.
I would watch DH if Teri Hatcher's character died in a tragic accident with no chance of every coming back from the dead or appearing in flashbacks.

gr8 show, gr8 actress, gr8 news can't wait for it to back, cant believe theres only the rest of this season and 3 more seasons then its ending !!!!!!! season 2 wasnt perfect because it didnt have a good mystery while 1,3 and the new one in 4 are great it just keeps getting better better. its gunna be funny when they come back half the cast have different hair styles !!!

Julianne ROCKS!!!! She's beautiful, and she's a great actress. I wish she was in more stuff, I haven't really seen her in much at all lately.
Julianne Moore has way too much class and quality to be on that show. I wonder why she would want to do it? Maybe a family member works on the crew or something. I mean, she's been starring in excellent films for years - what is there to be gained doing a couple of episodes on a crappy tv show?

Julianne Moore = That actress who thinks she's great, but really has zelch in acting ability and is so boring, I'd prefer reading out of a dictionary for a day then watch one of her shit movies. I mean why the hell is she even as famous as people think she is? She's like a mediocre robot on screen. They could of picked a better actor and a younger one to boot.

I cannot wait! I love the show, but I hate Terri Hatcher's character- she's such a klutzy dumbass. Even though she's skinny & sorta hot for her age, (I'm sometimes jealous of her body, def. not her mug) I think it would be cool for Mike to have an affair. With Bree's sister would be sooo intense.

Desperate Houswewives is great and super addictive…also, there are already 2 red-heads on the show…Bree and the one neighbour (who's husband is a gyno)…I forget her name now.

And before the strike it was among the top five rated TV shows in the US, and if it's not in the top five, it's in the top ten, so a lot of people like it… maybe you Americans don't realize, but the show is pretty popular around the world.

I still love the show (Felicity and Marcia are amazing) and I absolutely ADORE Julianne. I met her once in NYC and from all of my experiences meeting famous people, I have to say that she was the most humble and sweet. She's radiant.
