Poor Kate - she went and said something fairly harmless about a non-existent rivalry with Perez' favorite fag hag and Perez promptly labels her a "twat" (and yeah, I feel ok about using the term "fag" since offensive, sexist and harmful name-calling of women is ok with him). . His loyalties are so transparent. The only person who cares about Katherine Heigl is Perez. So she was in a box office hit - that doesn't mean the movie was a success because of her. Not everyone is fascinated by Katherine Heigl.

I really don't like Katherine, but Kate Hudson shouldn't talk. She is in the same type of movies and she only got there because of her famous parents. At least Katherine made it on on her own.
Katherine Heigl bites every hand that feeds her (Shonda Rimes, Judd Apatow), and doesn't deserve any of the buzz. She consistently turns in one-note performances and isn't pretty enough to float by on a beautiful face. Kate Hudson, on the other hand, has been in many charming movies, is a devoted mother, and never talks crap about any of the actors or directors she has worked with. I think that will mean far greater longevity for Hudson, and a quick end to Heigl's career.
Kate Hudson is the epitome of cool and if you think for one moment that she's jealous of Katherine Heigl you are out of touch with reality. Kate has a brain and is about as sexy and cool as they come so to compare her to the idiot who doesn't "do politics" and is a paparazzo whore is an insult to Kate.
i don't care for kate hudson. i just don't. she would never get one dime of my money. i also think her mother is just a titch over-rated as well. both her and her mother are attracted to serial cheaters, really losers at love, in spite of the fact that they stay with the men for years.
perez, i'm a huge fan of yours and visit your website whenever i can, but i must defend kate hudson with this one. i actually had the pleasure of randomly running into her in new york city about 2 years ago (i have the pictures to prove it) and i have to say - she was the nicest, most down to earth woman in the world. she was with two other people and clearly in a rush, yet she still stopped for a moment to take a picture with us and speak to us. i don't think a "twat" would do such a thing. she might not know about her rivals, but thats ok. maybe she's the type of person who doesn't involve themselves with drama and doesn't enjoy competition or conflict. theres nothing wrong with that.

This seals it - I am not a Kate Hudson fan anymore. The whole cheating on husband (plz get seperated first), the the Owen suicide thing, now she's dissing my fave KH. What is her deal? God, I haven't seen one of her movies in forever - I think the "I am a golden god" one was the only one I liked. It's the only one I remember and I can't remember the title. Apparently, the magazine interviewer asked Kate how she feels about being "rivals" (a fabricated rivalry) with other romantic comedy actresses, such as Katherine Heigl.
Kate merely asked, "Who? Oh, yeah. That girl from 27 Dresses. I just don't think about that stuff". Meaning: Kate doesn't concern herself with "rivalry" with other actresses… how their careers are going versus her own, who's prettier, who's got more buzz, whatever. She's just saying, "Who cares?". She's happy just being herself. Never mind what anybody else is doing. It's none of her concern.
