I don't think she is a lesbian. I think she's just a girl who's really comfortable with herself…. and the skit was probably wrote especially for her because of the fact that ppl like to label her as gay. I thought the skit was cute. It wasn't so much funny, but it was just right. I'm glad SNL can be serious sometimes. It's okay to be gay…
….i thought it was quite obvious that she was poking fun at the rumours surrounding her, i don't understand people that think otherwise.

I wasn't sure if anybody else got that vibe or not. I kind of always thought she may be a lesbian but the sketch got kind of warm and fuzzy at the end and it actually really wasn't funny it was more about acceptance especially when the other guy says he would turn gay too and they hug. Hopefully if she is she comes out so that other young girls like her have a role model.
She does kind of reminde me of Sara Gilbert.

Oh please, a truck driver it's more femenine than her. Juno is a fine movie but Ellen did not fool anybody. I thought "this is a lesbian playing a straight girl"…It is soooo obvious. I love Ellen Page, especially her work in the movie Juno! But just because she played as a lesbian in an SNL skit, doesn't mean she is officially gay. Everyone keeps posting that "Oh I'm glad she came out!" and she didn't… so don't jump to conclusions!

ellen is my idol. and untill i see evidence of her being a lesbian i will continue to think shes straight. it annoys me that just because someone dresses and speaks differently (like me and im straight… but the one person id go gay for would be ellen). the sketch was obviously making fun of the gay rumours. ellen is straight (as far as we all know) and does it really matter anyway?

Even DeNiro was a sucky SNL host…not that Ellen Page is the new Deniro or anywhere near it, but SNL hosting ability is not really a valid barometer for lack of talent.
But that sketch? I do think it was her way of subtly sending the message of her sexuality…what I like about it though is that for once homosexuality isn't the punchline. SNL rarely does sketches about real people doing real things so this was refreshing.
