The couple were spotted in NewYork City this weekend, where they were seen leaving the A.P.C boutique in SoHo on Sunday.
Perezcious reader Taylor ran into Gyllenspoon on the street Sunday, and this is what was observed:
"My friend and I were walking on 34th and 8th in Manhattan, at 4:45 pm and saw Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal holding hands and walking down 8th. It was really sweet…they were holding hands, he was holding her Balenciaga bag, and he was kissing her on the head while they waited for the light to change."

While I don't have studies at my fingertips, I have read and seen programming over the years suggesting many homophobes are suppressed homosexuals. My personal experience as a college teacher has revealed this to be true in individual cases. But since I don't have time to do the hard-core research for you, just google "Are homophobes suppressed homosexuals?" You'll get a variety of opinons, some attempting to be quantifiable, some opinion. Of course, I don't think homophobia is always a suppressed sexuality, but I do think it is a twisted view of what manhood should be. Why hate or fear people based on sexual preference?
I guess it is good the BBM is reaching Dungeons and Dragons like status, because it will hopefully make people more open minded. I think both young actors were very brave to take the parts, and respect them both for their efforts — and Ang Lee for crossing so many cultural barriers to take on the subject.

RW & RP (her ex husband) share custody of those kids. During the school year Reese has physical custody, with Ryan having lots of visitation during the week and getting the kids every other weekend. During the summer they share physical custody. Last Week RP was away doing press in Canada for his new movie, he was also away for 10 weeks filming a movie in London in the fall. Reese was with her children then and of course nobody was asking what happened to their dad or why he was out self promoting himself. This is his weekend and she will be at the UN tuesday launcing a fund to stop violence against women w/Avon.
By hollywood standards Reese & Ryan are great parents and by divorce standards they have done a great job doing what's right for their children and keeping it out of the press.

There is an artexpo at the javits center on west 34th, there is a big amc lowews over there and MSG. If you are attending an event at the garden then the best place to get picked up by car services is on the 8th avenue exit near the post office or to catch a cab. The 7th avenue entrance is always crazy and has big lines for cabs.
