An awful awful video has been making the Internet rounds that shows a glib Marine throwing a puppy off a rocky cliff.
Just writing that is making us cry.
Maj. Chris Perrine of the Marine Corps Base Hawaii says it appears the man is based with a unit in the islands.
Marine officials are calling the YouTube video "shocking and deplorable" and say it violates "the high standard we expect of every Marine."
What is SO disgusting is that this "person" would do this to a poor puppy and also videotape it and spread that awful energy all over the world.
He will get his!
And hopefully this investigation will result in a discharge against him and criminal case as well.

A mother dog holds a puppy like that in her mouth so she can move them from place to place…. the puppy calms and doesn't move… it relaxes like it is swinging in a hammock. i saw it on the news last night & couldn't watch. i hope it is fake. those guys need to go to jail. please support the human treatment of animals. don't buy a pet from a pet stores as they get their dogs from puppy mills. the dogs often have genetic issues becuase of inbreeding & the poor moms are breed over & over. animals in the mills are abused & their health issues are left untreated. get your animal from a resuce organization, the pound or a good breeder.

But what about the ferocious cruelty practiced against animals every day, just about everywhere in the world? The usual excuse is, "they don't feel it", but that is probably the stupidest blindspot that humanity has. They feel everything, pain and pleasure, just as we do, even the smallest animal. Let me just say I dont believe in cruelty of any kind, or violence. That said my father was a marine. I believe that when a human being is told to kill as their job it changes them and damages their minds. What this man did to the puppy is not ok, but more importantly what the goverment asks are military to do is not ok either. I love this country and are troops but asking people to kill for are people I think is torturous. Things like this go on all the time in the military.
