I'm 26, and really starting to learn the value of thinking for yourself and not letting what you were brought up around sway your opinions. i have decided that i am going to support hillary in this election, despite the disappointment of my family. I feel very powerful in my decision, even though it conflicts with other people. just becuase i lean conservative on some issues doesn't mean that you vote for a republican that you don't believe should be your president.

Not only that, but if either of the democrat candidates wins this upcoming election it would be a great step forward for America. You could either have a woman president, or a black one and I think that's pretty cool.

Thanks for supporting Hil & including coverage of the primary. Because of how popular your site is, I think even if people hate that at least you can shed light onto situations and hopefully make people think.
I also like when people disagree with me, but we it doesn't mean that someone else's opinion is "theirs". Too many have peers pressuring them, parents forcing their own values on them & people just wanting to do whatever is in. Obama is a great orator, but he comes across like a fad to me. I do not have faith in him. Some of the people who are overzealous for him - have they been blinded by the "rock star/next big thing" vibe that his campaign worked so hard to achieve? Yes, holding your candidate behind the curtain for 1 minute after announcing him at a rally is a rock star tactic.
The point is I have faith in Clinton. I'm not afraid to tell people this. Often I I am asked "omg you're so progressive why aren't you for Obama?!" I point out 95% of what they say is the same. A huge difference for me is TRUE universal healthcare from Clinton. Also, she has more experience, knows more world leaders, will be able to change the U.S. from hour 1 & has put forth a lot of ideas first such bringing jobs back to the U.S., universal healthcare & reached out to the LGBT community.
Congrats to Hillary on her wins. I can't wait to see her the next 7 weeks in PA. And congrats to Perez for speaking up.

Let me enlighten you for a second: like everything else..the media spun that picture as well! It was actually the star spangled banner that they were listening to in that picture where you are NOT required to put a hand over your heart and not the pledge. Thank you so much for supporting Hillary. I am in Houston, and trust me, it was a 'nail-biter' here, too. But thank God! Hillary took Texas. She is the best person for the job. She does have experience. Not like Obama, who only talks a good game but when it comes time to make tough decisions, all he does is whimp out with his "Present" vote instead of "yay" or "nay".
