We really hope this is just a vicious and malicious lie and that he sues them for spreading untruths.
We really really really hope it's a lie, but….
The National Enquirer is reporting exclusively that beloved Dirty Dancing and Ghost actor Patrick Swayze is dying of cancer and has only five weeks to live.
WTF????
Please say this isn't true!!!!
Let us all pray his publicist issues an immediate denial because this is just awful and sad and we can barely type this because we're crying so much.
Patrick is only 55 years old!!!!!!
The Enquirer claims that for the past month he’s been getting radical treatment at Stanford (they have a major cancer center), and flying up there in his private plane.
According to them, the cancer is in Swayze's pancreas and has quickly spread. The treatment does not seem to be working.
Please be WRONG!
And, if they are not wrong….
Let us send positive energy Patrick's way so that he is not in pain and to his family so that they remain strong during this most excruciatingly difficult time.

My father is suffering from cancer right now too and he went through all the treatments and it didn't help. It is so sad to see the ones you love waste away. I hope this is not true…….not becasue he is a celeb but because he is person! I wouldn't wish this on anyone even my worst enemy. If it is true I pray for him and his family.

hey guys…that is soooo sad. not to be the bearer of bad news but, im a doctor in ireland, where the incidence of pancreatic ca is very high. the survival rate is less than 10 % i hope for his and our sakes this aint true :'(

Doubt it… he's a native Houstonian, and WE have the BEST cancer treatment facility in the whole freakin' world. If he were going to be treated anywhere, it would be here in Houston, not at Stanford I bet. So, until we see him round our neck of the woods, I bet it's all fluff.

Thats so sad. I just recently had an uncle who passed away from pancreatic cancer. He was only 46. Worst cancer to have. Lets pray that it isnt true.
I agree with the first comment by Jen. My dad just got diagnosed with stage IV cancer at the very young age of 55. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this terrible disease. And I really wish tabloids would show people the respect to a) not make their disease and death a selling point, or b) lie or exaggerate about a disease like this.
If it is true, he will go quick. My Grandma had pancreatic cancer. Once it hit her Pancreas, she was gone in two weeks. But it is the national enquirer..how accurate can they be?

This is sooo sad, I have never posted here before (except to write to Fox re: John Gibson). Cancer is horrible. Both my parents died from it, and it isn't an "easy" death. Don't make fun of this, his friends and family are suffering too much right now. Just pray for him, and let us hope he gets better and goes on doing what he loves.

If true, this is so sad…pancreatic cancer moves very quickly and is next to impossible to cure, so if the info is correct there really isn't much hope for the guy. I had a grandfather that was diagnosed, treated and died from this all in the space of 12 weeks, so needless to say I've seen first hand what this monster is capable of. Prayers should indeed be said.

I saw Patrick Swayze in Chicago just before Christmas. We were in an elevator together and he looked fantastic. He appeared to be very healthy and happy! If this is not true I hope he and his family demand an apology from the Enquirer.
my bf's step father recent;y battled with pancreatic cancer . The doctors gave him about a year a year to live and although in the beginning of the chemo therapy the cancer went on remission for a bit but they found out that it already spread to his other organs and about 6 months ago he passed away .
I truly hope this is just a rumor . Pancreas cancer is is one of the deadliest type of cancer. My prayers goes out to him and his family and I hope they get thorough this very rough times . Patrick Swayze is truly one of the greatest actor ever .

Pancreatic cancer is such a vicious form of cancer. It is virtually incurable. I hope this is just a nasty rumor and is not true. Patrick Swayze is one of my all time favorites.
