The former actress is lashing out at ex-husband Charlie Sheen for trying to prevent their daughters from appearing on her upcoming reality show.
“This is the first time I’ve publicly commented on one of his attacks, but I need to take a stand at some point,” Denise tells In Touch exclusively. “He’s such an angry person. This court battle wasn’t about our girls on the show, it was him battling me. He wasn’t trying to protect the kids at all.”

Denise says Charlie refused to sign a waiver so he could use it as leverage to change their custody agreement. “But I wouldn’t compromise the protection I already had in place,” she says.
Sheen filed court papers to stop his daughter's involvement in the show — but the judge denied his request.
“Charlie was set for victory and had even prepared a statement,” Denise says. “But he lost. So now he wants my show to fail.”

Denise is relieved the show will go on. “I’m looking forward to people meeting the real me,” she says. “I just want to start over.”

Oh man I hope this show bombs. I'm sure Charlie Sheen was no prize of a husband (but didn't she know his patterns of behavior before going into it?) but there is no excuse for this fame-whoredom without his consent regarding THEIR children! The Osbournes and all are one thing–the kids were older and could choose (and look how that show fucked them up). But this is an embarrassment. She obviously wants the last word. Sometimes the best way to do that is to just go quietly off into the sunset, lead your life to the best of your abilities, and raise your kids out of the Hollywood drama. As far as her reality show, clearly the judge heard the entire plan etc. and thought it would not be detrimental to their kids, so he ruled in her favor. I've seen other reality shows that have the people's kids in them.
