The elimiation of both Danny and Kady shows that America hates concieted attitudes.
This leads me to believe Idol jumped the shark. Every year Simon Randy and there little sidekick Paula say the same shit. This is the best year, look out we have some really great singers this year. I am sorry, this was not the case at all this year. Yes, the people are good, but by far not great and in my mind by far the worst year yet. I'm reading what people are writing, about how most gay bashers are hicks from down south that didn't vote for Danny. I have to be honest, I'm a 35 yr old straight male from NY, and Danny was by far not even close to the bottom 12 this week. Come on! He shoulda at least made it 3 more weeks. I honestly feel this is all made up, America voted. BULL SHIT. Idol let him GO!!!! I thought he was a little over the top. OK way over the top, but I know he had a lot of fan's. I was one of them just for his stage presence and his vocals. I'm done with Idol after this year. If Simon wasn't on it, I woulda been done years ago.

to me danny was a girl trapped in a boys body .. it was only a matter of time before we would see him with make up and a dress ( which is totally cool ) but I dont think that america was ready for that as american idol is sort of like an institution already that represents and sets produces examples for kids to follow

I just got done writing a blog about how mad I am over this. He was hands down one of the best singers this year! I think people were just intimidated by him! People are so petty it makes me sick. His version of "Tainted Love" was amazing! He is too good for Idol anyway. America just couldn't handle it! I'm definitely not watching anymore this year!

I just watched his rendition of "Don't You Remember You Told Me You Loved Me" and I must say, I like it. He did exactly what Simon always says he wants…(made it his own)…only to bash it and find yet another negative thing to sya. I HATE American Idol but I really like this guy. He may not have won but he would have at least kept us entertained…no, not amused and bewildered like Sanjaya- this guy actually has talent. He'll be fine, but I must admit…I gave up a tear or two especially when they did that big ol non-gay hug. That was all love!
