Apparently, some nutjob has been sending threatening letters to several addresses connected to Brit Brit.
"A lot of it was disturbing stalker kind of stuff," says a source familiar with the situation. "But to be safe her security team is turning it all over to the police and FBI."
A rep for the LAPD says that a specific investigation has not been launched into the disturbing mail, but they, "have been looking at allegations that have cropped up in the past couple of months."
A spokesperson for the FBI says the LAPD could not comment on ongoing investigations.
Thankfully, Spears' dad, Jamie, has made sure she's got bodyguards with her and out of harms way.

Im sure you are a good person… but that comment is just plain stupid. EVERYONE knows that mental health meds PACK on the pounds. Some lower your metabolism, and some make your stomach feel like a bottomless pit that cannot get full. If you need to pick on her, there are PLENTY of other things you could rip the girl apart for.
