God said to love all of your brothers and sisters and he said not to judge others. if homosexuality is a sin, that is up to God to judge a person who is gay who dies one day. God said that even if you don't like something about a person, love them anyway and do not judge them. it is up to GOD to decide for a gay person, not us. so i say, let the person themself decide. not the government. let the person live their own life

That woman, regardless of the comments she's making, should be allowed to say whatever she wants to say in the privacy of her peers. If she was not speaking at a rally, convention, or event, then her own personal beliefs should not interfere with her job. There is a system of checks and balances set up in our country to protect a bill or law before it is fully passed, so it is not as if her opinion as state rep. for OK will be THE opinion, as there will be many people to veto any anti-gay law she attempts to pass. She lives in America, and she has just as much right to "disapprove" of homosexuals, as homosexuals have just as much right to disapprove of her. Check out the video clips on News9.com - there is a video of SK watching the YouTube piece about her comments. When the first pic comes up with someone holding a sign, she visibly winces and turns away. Moments later she shuts it off because she can't bear to watch it. She is a coward and cannot even face up to the consequences of her "free speech".
In the video clips, she also acknowledges that this is a "talk" she's given a number of times as a state representative to inform people about the big, bad gays. Apparently she learned all of the facts and figures she shared at a "meeting" that "several other" representatives attended. She couldn't identify them though, what with the big white hoods covering their faces.
she talks about suicides associated with gays, but it's because of PEOPLE LIKE HER that anybody has to go through hell for what should be completely their choice.

We are very outraged by this. I'm 49 and have lived in Oklahoma almost my entire life. It's hate like this that lost me my daughter. My ex took me to court and played the "Gay" card and I haven't seen or spoke to her in almost 8 years. I do not agree with anything this "representative" has to say, in fact, I have several gay relatives and friends whom I love unconditionally, but I don't think it's right to bash on someone when they assume only a few are listening. It's the same thing over and over again…you say something in private, assuming only a few will hear it, and then suddenly it's on Perez Hilton. It's not fair.
