Ms. Kearn, I agree that you have the right to free speech in this county in speaking about gays and lesbians last week; however it does not mean that I must agree with your opinion. You are a lawmaker and a xenophobe. It saddens me that there are still very narrow minded people in this Great, Free country who compare homosexuality to terrorism and assume that religions other than Christianity are not equal. Does that really mean that millions of people in this world are not equal to you because of your beliefs? This exemplifies just how very megalomaniac and self-righteous your opinions are. It begs me to wonder, what would Jesus do? My Jesus is non-judgmental and loving. I have learned from my Jesus to live a good life and to do so by doing no harm to others. Your hate speech does harm to others, and that is, in my opinion, the most primal and fundamental sin that should be avoided at all costs. Doing no harm applies to each and every teaching in the bible including the 10 commandments. I won't be judged in this live by who I love, but how I treat the ones I love and all of God's creations. Think about that next time you cast judgment, act in a self- righteous manner or treat others with disrespect, because in doing so you are disrespecting your Creator.
