I just love Rosie, and I can understand where DISAPPOINTED is feeling a bit frustrated by the lack of any acknowledgement from Rosie. I would be disappointed too. You are helping out immesureably and it makes you wonder WHAT exactly she sees on her blogs..or how she chooses what she sees ..hmm. If you have something important to say, use a proper method of communication. If you're really doing something important and related to her charity, it really shouldn't be hard to get in touch. For you to respond nicely and eloquently to Julie's statement was humble on your part. It is clearly a beautiful thing to help by way of charity. It's great that you gained the understanding, that you do not need and should stop waiting for a response from Rosie. It is extremely difficult to come to the realization that your wrong or that your anger IS "misguided"–I commend you on coming to that conclusion..please keep up the good work, you need recognition from no one—Doesn't it feel good enough to know you are doing something positive?

Wow! Thanks, Perez…That was so much fun. Due to recent financial woes, I have had to let my cable TV go and I really miss La Griffin and of course…."the real queen", Rosie. What a great pair those two bitches make. I totally get their humor…it's as if I were there (I wish) and just one of the girlz (gay man, of course). I would love to brainstorm with them…for free…just to see what came of the comments…If I could act/perform, etc. I'd hope to be like them. I'm not exactly referring to college education either, although it helps open the mind up to a more broad perspective of the world. I am, however, speaking of those who are so easily brainwashed by the media. No, I'm not trying to hustle anyone - I just thought I would explain why I no longer got to see Kathy on Bravo and I felt kind of empowered (although only briefly) to disclose that I was a huge fan of both Kathy and Rosie and that as a fan (in my case gay man) it was really cool to see them on Perez's site. I wasn't thinking about any ramifications and certainly not hoping for any handouts…., but it's cool that you took the time to point out how my post read to you. I like it when people respond to what I write…good or bad…if it seems sincere…and your comments did. I don't mind their appearance, but I understand how it's so not "industry" and I think they would be wonderfully entertaining on radio…I mean, I'd sit in my car to listen to them on AM if necessary. Then again, their facial expressions are priceless…Rosie has really evolved over the years and is a National Treasure regardless of how she wishes to appear (she can do glam…I've seen her and it looks hot!). Neither one has made on their looks, but Kathy really does keep her figure in check and appreciates the importance of looking her best for her fans. I think they both shoot from the heart and I like that.

So, upon reflection, I guess part of why I mentioned being disabled was subconsciousloy to explain how I had the time to actually watch Bravo when I had cable and read Perez like I did today…Thanks for helping me connect the dots and see the reason I referred to myself in that way. Re: Confused – I should have clarified more , that is my fault . Contacting her for the actual production would have been done through getting to her agent , or directly through her charities or whatever it took to literally contact her . But for the website alone , contacting her on her blog was the way to go .I sent her the website each time . It is a beautiful website that ran over one hundred thousand dollars , so it is not some fly by night half baked site.
And it was only to get her " approval " that I have her charity on there , NOT looking for a pat on the back as many of you have been quick to blame .I would also admit it if that were the case.
I read her blog whenever I could in the past and she has stated repeatedly that she sees ALL the posts . Being at one point that I was the very first post , a few weeks later the fifth post , that means - she saw me and chose to answer the hateful responses instead . My network so far has 56 charities we are going to shine a light on , MANY of them childen's based charities which includes St.Jude , so there you have it . There is NO anger on my part , just disappointed that she chose to bypass the good ijntentions to divert her energy to the negative hateful comments instead . I don't visit her blog anymore , but I know she does good things and she is a good person , but too many other charities to work with that share in my same enthusiasm .

We have 56 charities we are going to showcase so far and Rosie was the only one who wasn't receptive , all the other celebrities contacted this far were really excited. I am not looking for recognition , I am looking for - hey take my charity off your website , or yes keep my charity on your website , get it ? Huge difference . See the above post , contacting her by traditional means would have occurred when we go into preproduction and are looking to produce specials surrounding these charities. Thank you Margo for your input , it was thoughtful and most appreciated.

Am I disappointed , you bet , but did I tango on to focus on all the other charities and celebrities involved with them ?( the celebrity spin is just so we get eyeballs , thus advertisers come on board , therefore allowing us to contribute 25% of the ad revenue generated to all the various charities , which is equivalent to hundreds of thousands of dollars for each charity over time ) Absolutely !
