The born-again nutjobs were said to be discussing a Christian network group they are thinking of starting together.
Uh oh!
The pair were probably just on a date. It went well. Michael took Stephen home and taught him some tricks he learned in prison!

i just want to say a word. i love you perez, but it hurts me a little to hear you attack Christians. just because someone is "religious" doesn't mean that they are out to bash gays. i am currently in Bible College and some of my best friends are gay. it shouldn't be a blanket statement that Christians hate gays. some people have simply lost sight of the importance of loving others within their religions and i'm sorry to hear that those people have colored your idea of all Christians.

I have been reading this column for a while and have never really had the urge to comment. However, this one got to me. I am a Christian. Stephen Baldwin has been a guest speaker at the non-demoninational church I attend. I did not make it to that service, but I do trust my pastor's judgment. I grew up in hard core, very judgmental denominations. I know for a fact my current church is not like that. I believe certain lifestyles are a sin, because the Bible says they are. However, the Bible also says to "judge not, lest ye be judged". It also says "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone". Therefore I know it is not my place to say anyone is wrong for the lifestyle they lead. How unfortunate that I feel my faith has been ridiculed on a site I have visited daily. Doesn't Perez ask often why we can't just all get along? You ask that everyone accept the homosexual lifestyle, yet you cannot acept the lifestyle of a born again Christian??!! Hypocrisy at it's finest. I take two steps forward to move beyond the judgmental environment that was engrained in me growing up, only to have things like this put me a full step back.
Do you really have to call born again's "nut jobs."? If you call them that then you can say anything if they talk out against your choice of lifestyle……….

I believe in God. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior and have a personal relationship with him. It isn't religion-based — it's a choice. Just like Jesus told us — "Choose you this day who you will serve." Everyone makes a choice just like everyone will live with the choices they have made.
