Instead of distancing themselves from her vitriol, Republicans in the state of Oklahoma are applauding congresswoman Sally Kern for saying such small-minded and hateful things like….gays are worse than terrorists.

Kern told reporters that her fellow Republicans in Oklahoma gave her a standing ovation on Monday.
And, she has vowed not to apologize for her hateful words.

It is fucking sad… I live in Oklahoma, the statistics may not be 100% accurate, but i do believe in a populations study it was determined that Oklahoma had one of the largest Gay populations "per capita". I am gay and have many gay friends. My friends around me who are not homosexuals generally support me and my "lifestyle" without question. It's very sad to see that people like this Troll still walk around and are able to let their "opinions", if they can be called that, be heard.

I am an Oklahoman. I do not agree with anything she said and she's obviously an idiot. HOWEVER…There is this wonderful thing called the Constitution…maybe you've heard of it. It guarantees you the freedom of speech that YOU make such a big deal about on your posts, and we all work so hard to protect. When people in this country are no longer allowed to speak their minds, regardless of whether you agree with their opinion or not, then you know we have a major problem. Think about it.
