I don't know if this dog is swallowing the air or not…but if she is it could be harmful. If a dog swallows an excess amount of air they could be at risk for "bloat" (gastric torsion). It's a pretty scary thing, dogs can die from it. Their stomachs fill with air and then twist, cutting off the blood supply. It is a medical emergency when it happens.
