The National Enquirer has the first photo of Patrick Swayze since news broke that he has the extremely fatal pancreatic cancer….
And he's fucking smoking!!!!!!!!!!
The photo, taken this Monday, shows a gaunt-looking Swayze at a small airport in northern California.
And HE'S SMOKING!!!!!!! While he's still getting treatment. This boggles our mind!
He is poisoning his body as he is trying to get better.
Maybe he's just resigned himself to the sad fact that no matter what he does, he will likely die in a few months????

It has been reported that Patrick had a disgusting THREE PACK A DAY cigarette habit.
NO ONE should be smoking that much!

Even if it is a real picture of him smoking, you have no right to judge him until you happen to be going through the same experience he is.
My grandfather died from pancreatic cancer in May 2007. It is extremely fatal in almost all cases. As much as I usually don't agree with smoking - he is going to die within a few months. If he has resided himself to the fact that he is going to pass on, I say let him keep smoking. Smoking or not smoking will not change anything at this point. If he wants to eat entire sheet cakes, steaks, ice cream - so what. Let him enjoy himself in his last few months of life.
By the way…most causes of pancreatic cancer stem from SMOKING & Diabetes.
Maybe he's smoking a joint so help with the pain and nausea of chemotherapy?

If you knew anything about cancer then you would know that to stop smoking while going threw chemo can have bad effects on your body. Plus, he's got a slim chance to live and he's probably very stressed - you can't even stop criticizing people who have a terminal illness.

i agree with samantha. he's already very sick, very miserable and will be in pain. if smoking is the only way to give him a little bit of happiness or if it makes him forget about his suffering, then let him be. he can smoke all the cigarette that he wants so long as it is giving him pleasure and satisfaction. after all, life is very short!!

If he's seriously that sick and there is no hope for recovery….let him smoke. I personally think cigarettes are nasty but if I'm on the verge of dying, I'll send anyone to hell who all of a sudden wants to get me to stop one of my vices. I've had friends with parents who are going through treatment for a cancer caused by smoking and many of them would light a ciggie first thing as they walked from the hospital door. It's an addiction man. If people could kick heroin when it started to destroy their body I'm sure they would, but sadly it doesn't work that way. Let the man relieve his stress.

I quit smoking, and it is extremely difficult, especially if you have signifigant stress in your life, as I assume he does. Perhaps you should quit your habit of overeating, before you criticize other people for their disgusting habits. Belly fat is also very dangerous, and life threatening.

My mother died from pancreatic cancer 2 years ago and she was never a smoker. Pancreatic cancer is a killer, giving it's victims less than 6 months to live after diagnosis. If you were ever diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, smoking a cigarette really isn't going to kill you anymore than your pancreatic cancer will. If it's making him happy and helping him relax - fuck it. He's going to die, as sad as that sounds. I know he's going through treatments - so did my mom, and it's really just the medical industry's way of giving hope…but that's all it is. It's not a cure.

Another little tidbit: My aunt died last week from lung cancer; was she a smoker, no. Had anyone in her house ever smoked, no. Had she ever been exposed to chemicals, no other than as a housewife. She died a horrible death I was there. I work in the medical field and years ago you did not hear of this much cancer. You didn't hear of young girls in their 20s getting breast cancer. I think it is the pesticides/hormones in our foods that is causing this huge eruption of cancer and genetic links; proven breast cancer gene, proven colon cancer gene, prostate, GI cancers, etc. 20 years ago didn't hear of anyone having prostate cancer, now everyone has it. Do you think the crap we are eating has caused our genes to mutate to open us up to more cancers?
