The National Enquirer has the first photo of Patrick Swayze since news broke that he has the extremely fatal pancreatic cancer….
And he's fucking smoking!!!!!!!!!!
The photo, taken this Monday, shows a gaunt-looking Swayze at a small airport in northern California.
And HE'S SMOKING!!!!!!! While he's still getting treatment. This boggles our mind!
He is poisoning his body as he is trying to get better.
Maybe he's just resigned himself to the sad fact that no matter what he does, he will likely die in a few months????

It has been reported that Patrick had a disgusting THREE PACK A DAY cigarette habit.
NO ONE should be smoking that much!

While it's definitely not something to condone, it is an addiction. When people are going through an extremely rough part of their life, quitting generally isn't going to be top priority.
If you've got pancreatic cancer I reckon you can do whatever the hell you like. Plus I agree, it looks like a joint, and another thing about people with extremely painful illnesses is that smoking marijuana can sometimes be one of the only things that helps.

Smoking DOES cause pancreatic cancer, look it up. Smoking can cause cancer anywhere in the body. Lung cancer, mouth cancer, esophaugal cancer, pancreatic cancer and stomach cancer are all linked to smoking, alcohol and a diet high in animal fat. If you want to avoid preventable cancer eat a vegetarian diet and get rid of your nasty habits.

I was surprised to see what disgusted Perez: I was personally horrified to read the headline "his last days" but Mr Perez is shocked over the fact that PS is still smoking!!! Smoking is an addiction which you don't get rid of just like that, furthermore yes, it's very possible that Patrick Swayze thinks "what the hell, I'll die soon anyway".

Its too bad about him, but most people diagnosed with Pancreas Cancer have a life sentence of less then a year. Thats probably why he hasnt quit.

its very likely the stress of quitting smoking, especially a three pack a day habit, would literally be too much for his body to handle. mothers who smoke before getting pregnant are not told to quit…the stress is worse on the baby than smoking one ciggarette a day is. smoking is a filthy habit, but don't pretend you are a doctor, we should be supporting him.
I don't know if you've ever HAD a real addiction, Perez. But it's not something you can get rid of just like that. Smoking does kill, and people recognize that. But when you're up to 3 packs a day (and I've never even smoked HALF that much), I'm sure giving itup cold turkey, even if you know it's for your health, is very difficult. Especially in such a hard time..
I work at a hospice for the terminally ill. If Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer, smoking at this point is not going to affect his outcome. We are taught to be non-judgemental towards our terminal clients and allow them to be as comfortable as they can. If Patrick quits smoking now, he will be adding withdrawal to the discomfot he is already in. Show some comapssion or do some research before you post these things.

My dad died of lung cancer about 6 years ago. He looked pretty much like this at the end, very thin with a gaunt face. The end is near for Patrick. It's clear to see from the picture. I'm sure he has been told this. Stopping smoking now will do absolutely nothing to make him better or prolong his life. He may as well smoke if he wants to.

Smoking is more than likely the cause of his cancer. A good friend of mine had pancreatic cancer and a few months before he died, he looked like a skeleton. Just like Swayze does in the photo. I hope he has made his peace with God because it will take a miracle for him to survive this type of cancer.

Yes, smoking is associated with a greater risk of cancer, so is not eating the recommended amounts of fruits and vegetables daily. No one seems to address the fact that Swayze's imdb page lists him as a recovering alcoholic, still sober as far as I know. Pancreatic cancer is highly correlated with alcohol abuse.
