The National Enquirer has the first photo of Patrick Swayze since news broke that he has the extremely fatal pancreatic cancer….
And he's fucking smoking!!!!!!!!!!
The photo, taken this Monday, shows a gaunt-looking Swayze at a small airport in northern California.
And HE'S SMOKING!!!!!!! While he's still getting treatment. This boggles our mind!
He is poisoning his body as he is trying to get better.
Maybe he's just resigned himself to the sad fact that no matter what he does, he will likely die in a few months????

It has been reported that Patrick had a disgusting THREE PACK A DAY cigarette habit.

Hello…..if you were very sick and knew that your life expectancy is very minimal…enjoy the last of your life. Eat, drink, smoke, be happy. Give the man a break. And those of you, including perez, who have bad habbits of your own…can not attack others for their bad habbits. A guy I work with got diagnosed just last week with not just pancreatic, but lung, liver and brain cancer. We're all raising money for his care (uninsured American) but I wonder why…I think we should make a trust for his soon-to-be-left-behind 16 year old daughter. Some things are just futile…like quitting smoking when you have a practical death sentence in your lap. Anyway…I quit smoking April 19, 2005, in fear of receivng bad news like Patrick's, wanting to head that noise off at the pass…and haven't returned to it. I used to smoke and I wish I had never started…it's an awful habit and so hard to break. My husband has had a heart attack and a defib put in his chest, and is 80 lbs over weight, yet he still will smoke at least a pack a day. I just don't get it, in Patrick's case, maybe he is terminal, in that case, what's the point. Cigs kill you in so many ways, and unless you drop dead of a heart attack, it's usually a slow, devasting and wasting death. Sucks for those left to pick up the pieces.

A close family member of mine died from the same cancer that Patrick has and he smoked 40 cigarettes a day. His doctors told him NOT to quit smoking. Because he had been smoking for so many years that if he quit now it would be to much strain on his body. So that is probably why he still smokes. He needs his strength for both physical and fysical reasons. So don't be to quick to judge him.

I own a rental agency and anyone who comes by to rent a place that stinks like smoke, their application goes right into the garbage as soon as they walk out the door. I also never hire anyone that smokes as they stink (of course) and they always seem to be on a smoke break, very counter productive, not to mention they have more sick days than other workers.

perez, i'm a nurse and seeing a lot of cancer in my career, patricks chances are soooo poor. his treatment is probably palliative and when that is the case they tell patients to do what makes them happy and relaxed. although smoking is disgusting if that is how he wants to live his last few months then i think he should.

pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer. the suffering that goes along with this disease is almost incomprehensible to the average person. having a fatal disease, the pain of chemo, and the inevitability of your death weighing on your shoulders makes smoking your only escape.
smoking is one of the known causes of pancreatic cancer, so don't start. However, it's too late for Mr. Swayze. The survival rate is only 1-3%. Leave the poor man alone.

Look, I'm a smoker. And I don't suggest anyone start. A non-smoker does not understand how freakin' hard it is for most smokers. Once it grabs you, you're in deep with very little hope of getting out. Some people have strong enough will power to quit and I'm trying to be one of them, however… be a little bit sympathetic as it is one of the hardest things to quit. It's his life anyway, it's not going to affect any of you on a personal level, it's not like you're best friends.

I had a friend you has stage 4 lymphoma and she smoked 2 packs a day. The doctors told her smoking was the least of her problems. That was almost 10 years ago and she is doing fine.

When u find out you are dying, its sort of stressful; so give the guy a break! Someone I know recently was diagnosed and the Dr.'s started treatment to give us more time; but they said to quit smoking was an unnecessary stress and burden for the patient. If they're dying anyway, why make them change their whole lifestyle for a few weeks or months? Just let them be comfortable. My prayers are with Patrick and his family.
