I didn't like the trailer and it looked like the movie will suck cuz nothing beats the orginal, but I know that I will that when it comes out on DVD I will rent it.

I can't believe it has been 21 years!! I remember seeing the preview as a kid. I love the original - I agree, this one belongs on the CW. They should have put Haim in it because it can't get any worse.
That sequel looks like garbage just like every other horror movie remake. Feldman has aged well though - lookin good.

Oh no…you're not the only one!!! I've got the movie & the soundtrack too…love it. I think I'll be disappointed in this sequel. The effectiveness of the film was due in part to the era in which is was released. You can't copy that.
PEREZ if you love vampire movies than you better start getting excited for TWILIGHT! It's coming out in December and it's based on 3 amazing books that you would love! Trust me . . . I love you and you would loveeeeee these books!

that looked like the worst movie ever … it will flop at the box office terribly. Tom cruises Lions for Lambs which you hated perez made a profit , this will send the studio that makes it broke.
Ok, I saw no hot vampires….thats the number one rule..you must have at least one hot vampire in a good vampire movie. It can make or break an otherwise crap movie. Dracula 2000 was crap but Gerard Butler was in it, therefore the movie had a redeeming quality to it. The vampire in this remake looks like a fat Linkin Park frat boy. EW.
They'd better not fuck this up. The original is one of my top 5 movies of all time and if they fuck it up I'm not going to be a forgiving person.

It looks like it might not totally suck. But as much as I love Feldman, I porbably won't rush out to buy it or anything. First of all, the original is so good it doesn't need a sequel. Forget the fact that the head vampire was killed, thusly killing any other vampires that might have been lurking. So there's no plausable way for there to be a sequel. And second, I can understand a Lost Boys without Kiefer, he got killed. But a Lost Boys without Corey Haim? Come on! His bathtub scene and "shit sucking vampire" line made that movie!

OMG that reminds me - I was at the Dublin sherbourne hotel last monday (3rd) in the morning having breakfast when in walked some numpty in sunglasses (at 10am on an overcast day) and I nearly choked on my Irish bacon when I realized it was a very rough looking Kiefer Sutherland. I wanted to say "hey, I wanted to marry you when you were a bad arse vampire" but what the heck does that say about me? So, I pretended like he was just another guy. I guess he needs to go far to party in peace. Lose the sunglasses and you won't stick out in Ireland so much! Good for him for getting away from the craziness and partying without the judgement.

Perez, I love love love vampire movies as well and Lost Boys is one of my top favs. The sequel looks pretty good and even the remake of "Cry Little Sister" sounds good…I can't wait to watch! Thankfully there's someone from the original Lost Boys in the sequel!
