Um, who the hell chose VANCOUVER, BC to film a surf city in? They should've just stuck to Santa Cruz, California (which happens to be the town I live in).
I loved the original. Cory Feldman still looks exactly the same in this movie as he did in the original back in the 80's. It looks pretty good, but what was great about the original was the cast - hopefully this one can live up to the original.

I LOVE Horror movies especially vampire movies… the original was amazing but this looks like all the other crappy vampire movies.

Corey Feldman looks really great! I am glad to see him looking more professional and adultish. The movie looks like a bastardization of the original. I was obsessed with that movie when I was young! LOL

this movie looks bad, but i'm tempted to watch it now after hearing Tom Savini does a cameo. Ha, how lame is casting the original head vampire's (Kiefer's) little brother in the movie as the new lead vampire. DUMB!

I hope this movie lives up and does justice to the first. Corey Haim is also in the movie. He has issues with his passport orginally and obviously that's been dealt with. They should have never have updated the main theme, which in my opinion was fucking brilliant! "Cry Little Sister" was the best song ever! To make it for the new generation sucks, who says everything old has to be made new again?

Did ANYONE notice how Corey describes the characters of Chris and his sister in the movie–what is up with saying they are Michael's niece and nephew? OBVIOUSLY it would mean that they are Sam's Kids… I know the other, better actor, but more problematic Corey isn't associated with the movie, but don't disrespect his character by making NO reference to him.
Maybe he did so because it would draw attention to the fact he is a CRAPPY actor! I swear you should ONLY make a sequal if it will be BETTER than the first–for instance, legally blonde 2, bridget jone's diary 2, princess diaries, the exorcist 2, psycho 2, Firestarter 2 and so on… I MEAN MAKING A SEQUAL TO LOST BOYS IS AS BAD AS ATTEMPTING A SEQUAL TO MONSTER SQUAD… IT IS SO RETARDED!

Na thanks. I like the original better. Most of the kids in the new movie were either toddlers or not even born when the original came out. Corey Feldman still looks good - he has aged well and does not look much older than he did back in '87!!

What a way to ruin the legacy of an ace film. It looks about as scary as cotton candy and sexy? Yeah, sexy like my mum in a leather thong dancing at Mardi Gras. How many cliches in under a minute? I lost count. The only reason for a sequel is to give the plastic fantastic hunk on the beach with the saxophone another 15 minutes of fame!!!

Lost Boys is one of my all time favorite movies. Nothing can compare to the original and this sequel looks horrible, cheesy and not worth my money to pay to see it. Such a let down and i haven't even watched the movie yet. Previews are suppose to entice you to want to go to the movie not run the other way.

The original is one of my favorite movies of ALL time. So funny, so classic….the new one looks so Hollywood. It kind of makes me sad….hopefully it will make all the kids want to see the original! Corey's forever!!!

This looks like total crap! It's like some One Tree Hill, Veronica Mars like show with Corey Feldman. The original had the whole family angle in addition with the young romance, trying to fit in as a teenager - all that AND the vampire stuff made it cool. Well, the sound track, too. This looks like total crap plus everyone in it looks all of 12 - that's including Feldman. Stop the madness with the remakes and the lame @ss sequels.

OkayI know no one is going to read this but, I did a little digging and thanks to IMDB.com it looks like both Corey's are back and Jamison Newlander (Corey Feldman's brother in the movie) are all back in their orginial roles. But, besides that the movie is totaly trying to follow what new cookie cutter teen horror where it's pretty people doing evil things i.e. the Covanant. Plus from the looks of the trailer even though the movie got a moden upgrade Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander's outfits are still stuck in their 80s.
