4. The person whom we elect as president should be one capable of getting us out of this Depression Era-like stage where we are. We have economic concerns, unemployment, the dollar getting dumpier every day, gas prices, etc. I am sorry, but I will vote for the person that I deem more experienced and capable to deliver that. I don't give a damm if he grew up in a single mother's home (by the way, how can you blame white people for that) or that people slighted you. The presidency should not be awarded to the person who has endured more or less discrimination, but to the one who can run this country. Leave race out of this.

If she did anything illegal, the IRS would be dealing with it, beyond that, it's no one's business and just another stupid little ploy by Obama's campaign to cast suspicion on her and try to make himself look "more honest" than her, all the while claiming he's above mudslinging tactics. Obama himself spent several of his formative years in Islamic Indonesia and as an adult, spent time in Islamic areas of Africa. I've been reading Barack Obama's book and he's a wonderful writer, but
he never says in his book that he's proud to be white, it's primarily about his African heritage.
And while black people have a history of discrimination in our country, there are many many other groups discriminated against–the disabled, war veterans who have PTSD and are homeless, single mothers on welfare, people who live in poverty (usually have some kind of health problem), Jews, Arabs, Native Americans, rural whites, Hmong, Asians, Latinos, gays and yes, women. They still don't make as much per hour as men and represent low income earners 2:1 when compared to men
….so why do black leaders or preachers continue to behave as if this is 1961? I don't get it.
Black Americans don't have a monopoly on suffering in this country–they were smart–organized and mobilized–and have benefited from having their voices heard. Maybe it's time other minorities were given an equal opportunity to be heard. And I'm not convinced Obama can see other minority groups who suffer. Would he ever be able to stand up for them? Would he be able to stand up for disadvantaged white people without fear of upsetting his balck power base? Sadly, after reading his book, Obama comes across as a man with an identity crisis who is intent in proving his worth in the eyes of fellow African Americans. Has anyone else read his book?

This is really bad PR for Obama. The President of the United States represents all Americans - not just African Americans and not just Christians.
We all know that America has and is racist and sexist and homophobic and ageist. So it goes. But, ranting and raving about Hilary and the white man won't help bring the country together. It is that kind of devisive speech - whether by Mr Wright or Rush Limbaugh or Sally Kern that will tear us apart. It forces people to take sides based on their race or gender or politics. Obama is a tremendously divisive candidate. He will not denounce Wright's comments and anyone who wants unity and change would ask God to Bless America. But that's not really what Obama wants. He wants his hate-filled revenge.
As women, we are confronted with all kinds of prejudices, but Hillary doesn't go to a church that uses those prejudices to excuse or promote hate and violence. Obama does. There are many nazi, hate-filled Americans who will respond positively to Obama's propanda.
