90210 is Coming Back To TV!!!!!!!!!

We need to take deep breaths because we are gonna start hyperventilating!
This is THE MOST EXCITING NEWS we've heard….well, today.
The CW network is working on a spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210.
OMG!!!!!!!
At this point, it's just a pilot, but the CW needs to order this to series!
Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas is in talks to pen the project, which has been put on the fast track by the network.
It is unclear if any of the original cast members will return, but they HAVE to have at least a couple on.
The Peach Pitt is back!!!!

It will be terrible. There will be no Brandon, Brenda, Dylan, Kelly, Donna, Steve or David, guaranteed… and if there is, it they will be old and decrepit. Just like the New Kids reunion, please leave my memories of being a teenager intact, with memories of my favorite stars and musicians just as they were when I was a teenager: young and hot. I dont want to see them old and wrinkled, with receding hairlines and beer bellies.

This is awesome news…I still watch the reruns. They must bring back some of the originals. If you think about it, why wouldn't some of them return? What has Shannon doing these days…not much…same with a lot of them. They need a good gig. And, Tori Spelling would be on board, I would think, she's doing pretty much anything for a paycheck these days!!! They don't need to bring back "Andrea" though, she was a complete bore then and would be a bigger bore now.
That's AWESOME! But why can't they bring back the BEST SOAP Aaron Spelling ever had, "DYNASTY!" The characters are all there. Jeff and Fallon's kids, LB(Little Blake), Lauren, Steven and Sammy Jo's son, Danny, Adam's long lost son that was taken away, Blake and Krystals daughter Krystina. I say bring on "DYNASTY:The Next Generation".

90210 is already on TV all the time on the soap network…I am excited too I have to say but lets be realistic…the era of tv shows like 90210 are over…there just isnt an audience for anything thats not (real)ity tv…I give it 5 episodes tops…

I will never watch anything Rob Thomas has a part of because of how he ruined Veronica Mars. Fans who were dedicated to a show he created were left with a shit of an ending and absolutely NO closure whatsoever, and even though ratings would go up when Logan and Veronica were together, he INSISTED that they not. It went from a teenage noir show to a teenage drama show.
They MUST bring back Queen Bee Shannon Doherty! Whether you loved Brenda or hated Brenda, anyone can admit that the show lost some sizzle after Shannon left.

Is it bad that I am totally excited for this? When I got Tivo, I recorded every episode from the begining (it was on the Soap channel 3 times a day!). I had seriously over 100 episodes and I had to stop recording because there were so many. It took 6 months to get through them all. It wa s such a guilty pleasure!

Aaron Spelling is dead. Let this show go already! Stop trying to resurrect the hoopla around any reunion. Most people that watched that show are now in their mid to late 30's and have moved on. Does it really seem wise to bring these characters back? Considering we haven't seen any of them since the show went off the air, I'm sure the original cast would be pumped to do this again! The Spelling "touch" won't be on it though. I sense a failure in the making.
