For once Perez, I don't agree with you. There is nothing new here and I doubt that it's going to be huge. Jack Johnson and Xavier Rudd are way better than this guy!
You know, I love his music, but ever since I saw what a tremendous tool he was in concert it's hard for me to listen to it anymore…
I love love LOVE Jason Mraz. He's such a great singer/songwriter and I'm glad to see he's releasing music, even if this song is kinda old. I've had an acoustic version since last year.
This song is old, there's many versions, an acoustic and several live versions. This single version is a bit more produced, but I think it's just as endearing as all the other versions. Filming the vid in Hawaii makes it perfect! I've read that it's the North Shore of O‘ahu, but I think I see some Kaua‘i shots there as well?

this song is years old, its my song with my boyfriend and has been since 2006.. and I knew it I think in 2005… this version is NOT as good as the other one, the "remixing" ruins it.

This video was just shot a few weeks ago here on Oahu, those are my friends hiking with him, jumping waimea, "talking" with him at the skate park, and driving the boat..so cool! They said he was a really nice guy, super down to earth.

The song and video are just perfect. I really hope it gets big. Mraz is one of the most talented people in the industry.
To clear things up:
Mraz released a DEMO of the song as a bonus with his last album. But it is still a NEW SINGLE. It has never been on the radio or on a real album. So therefore, Perez is right.

Hey, Perez. I found "I'm Yours" via MySpace about two years ago and instantly loved it. I played it one morning while my boyfriend was in the room. I knew that the song grabbed his attention when he pulled me into his lap and started hugging on me.
A month later, he asked me to marry him. He told me listening this song was the straw that broke the camel's back. He knew after hearing it that he wanted to be with me forever. On June 2, 2007, we got married. We had our wedding band learn this song. Although they didn't do it the justice it deserved, it was still a very special moment.
Thanks to Jason Mraz, for being that piece of straw, and thanks to you, Perez, for brightening up my day.

Go check out the studio version of David Archuleta's "we can work it out" Perez!!! it's on itunes, and one youtube under studio version david archuleta. It's amazing and ADDICTING!! The way we all wish he would have sang it on tuesday night. Apparently once you hit the top 12 they all get to record a studio version of the songs to put on itunes. It is so damn awesome!

By The Way….the version that everyone is referring to was a live version off of the "Selections For Friends" live cd that came out about a year ago. jason mraz isn't the NEW anything. he is an amazing established artist. just because he is a singer songwriter with a guitar does NOT make him jack johnson (who also is amazing, might i add). if you have ever listened to ANYTHING else he's ever done you would notice a very distinct difference.
