This song is 2 years old. He was in Sweden last summer and played it at a festival in Arvika. Robyn is Swedish and the songs that Perez is writing about got released in 2004. I guess Perez need to update his contacts in the musicbusiness. / Sweden

the single is almost 2 years old but i'm glad to see that he finally has a video out for it. i have so many versions of it that and i love the new twist with backup he has on it. usually its just him on acoustic which is also wonderful. i love this boy. i can't wait to see him in NOLA in April!

The version everyone is talking about is from an EP that Jason released to people who pre-ordered the Mr. A-Z CD back in 2005. Love the song. It does have a similar melody to the hit by (forget his name - the Hassidic Jew). Hope he doesn't get in trouble cause the melody sounds like the other song. LOL
I'm so glad he is FINALLY releasing what has always been one of my favorite songs of his. Most of you are right this isn't a new song I first heard it in 2003 and it's older than that i believe. He just never put it on any of his albums until a live album he did in Chicago last year. He actually had a lot of songs you won't find on any albums that are some of his best. I love the video for it and it will be so interesting to see how many people are going to be huge Mraz fans again just because he will have another radio single when some of us have remained loyal fans for the past 8 or 9 years

This song was written a couple of years ago but was never recorded. It was played live and a taper got it and the fans have had this version with the Speechwriters LLP (I was there), which is lovely.
This one is the FIRST COMMERCiaL REALESE of the song and will be on Jason's upcoming CD, We Sing, We Dance We Steal Things due out on May 20th.

First off he did this song about 4 years ago but it didn't make the cut for his last album. That being said I absolutely LOVE this song….it makes me smile and think of Hawaii whenever I hear it. I can't wait for Mraz's new album to drop.

The song dates back to at least '04… I heard it first at the Gimme Shelter benefit at the Roxy in Los Angeles, i believe it was in December… GREAT song, i've been in love with it for years. Sadly, this cheap video is the best one hes had yet. I'm glad he's not dancing around in another ebay commercial, but serriously, he needs to get a REAL video going on to support his songs… I just feel bad, ’cause he's soooo talented, but his stuff will never make it to TRL, and lets face it, you're just not a "sucessful" musician unless you make it in the top 10 on TRL…

I heard Mraz play this song back in Spring 05, it was also on the EP before his last album, Mr. A-Z, but it was much more acoustic. He reworked it a little, but it's great and he's great, and very yummy I might add. YAY for Mraz!
