This guy is a cancer and a pox on Obama and his campaign. The republicans are investigating to see if Obama was sitting in on any of his sermons, if he was then he is in real trouble. In the meantime, they will play this reverend's message of hate any chance they get to remind the public of it. This will continue until the general election, if he makes it that far. A majority of Americans will be upset and disturbed by these radical and hate-filled comments. True Obama supporters will stick by his side until the end, but will this be enough? Pledged delegates and super delegates will also have to take a second look and assess what is best for their careers and most importanly how to get re-elected. Obama also has pissed off a lot of African-American ministers for dissing Reverend Wright and are planning on coming out against Obama for throwing him under the bus. This type of sermon is typical within the black community. Blacks have become racist more so then whites in todays world. No wonder so many young black men are angry, look at their spiritual upbringing. Spreading hatred and racism towards all. Poverty stricken areas with large black populations have blamed everything on the white man. African Americans need to get a hold of themselves and stop using slavery from over 150 yrs ago as their crutch. But why hasn't the black population in America over come this?? It certainly doesn't help having men like Rev. Wright push this crap down peoples throats every Sunday. Almost brainwashing the parisheners. Blame helps no one especially if the act happened well over a century ago. The ones responsible are long gone and to punish whites now is not justice, its more like a late vendetta because somewhere in your genes someone may have owned a slave. If races refuse to grow because of past suppression, we'd have civil wars throughout the planet, everywhere. But these people didn't lay down and feel sorry for themselves, they did something constructive so their society may grow and prosper. And when you look at roll models for young black men, you get rappers in jail.You pick your own roll models, this is not a communist state. So I feel it is time for the African Americans to man up and take personal responsibility on their actions and stop the blame game!

I think the pastor is obsessed with the sound of his own words, more than anything. Also this is reactive speech rather than proactive speech. Their are many ways of doing something or getting a point across, but this is the wrong way. Hes gets the crowd rilled up, but then doesnt have an idea to give them on how to use that immense energy, proactively. I do draw a comparison now with what Michelle Obma said and the pastors. I think that both her & Barrak are at the least inspired by hes speak. When he says "God Damn America" he doesn't mean that God should damn America and punish us. He means that we should be ashamed for some of the things we're doing in other countries (bombing innocent civilians in Iraq, not taking an active role in stopping the terrorism in Darfur, not doing enough to help our own people in our country in the way of healthcare, education, etc.).
The media has tried to find any dirt they can against Obama and this is it. They have blown the situation out of proportion and in turn, influential and gullible people at home also see the situation as a big deal. The media has encouraged people take the Pastor's words literally when obviously there is deeper meaning behind what he's saying. Don't believe everything that certain media outlets like Fox News and Perez (you know he wants Clinton to win!) tell you. They'll say anything to help their own agenda.
