Barack Obama is a joke. If this preacher is the man that our potential future president idolizes, then I do not want to have any part of it.
Before we let the media quick to condemn Senator Obama for his relationship with Pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. over the last 20 years, we should first judge for ourselves by asking the question:
- For the last 20 years, on record, has Senator Obama ever practiced or holds the same anti-American and racist views of his mentor Pastor Wright.
If the answer is no, then we should accept and believe in Senator Obama’s response in his public denouncement of Pastor Wright's inflammatory sermons. Since action speaks for itself, no one can pretend to be someone else for over 20 years.

You're right. Actions do speak for themselves. If Obama was in those church pews hearing this message of hate, then why didn't he take the ACTION and get and leave? Instead, he had the guy marry him and his wife, baptize his children, and made him his spiritual advisor. Great judgment.

It is pretty pathetic that when someone in this country speaks the truth it is controversial. Everything this man has said is the truth.

Please take some time to read about what we have done in Cambodia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, South Africa, to the Palestinians, Cuba.
We are a capitalistic, imperialistic country who is ruthless in our attempts to gain and hold economic resources around the world and we will support, train and put dictators into power as long as they agree to our economic endeavors without a care as to what happens to the civilians. Once we are able to get our corporations into a country - usually a third world country - we buy the land out from under the landholder, employ them for slave wages, export all of their natural resources and don't put anything back into the economy.
The US is partly responsible for the creation of third world countries.

This is supposedly a church where you go and worship, not to be divisive and spread your message of hate and to use God's name in vain in order to do it. What happened to his experience of bringing everybody together? I think it is time to write another speech.

If anyone at all has been reading and following this election seriously, one would have already read the article/interview in which Obama himself confessed that he grew up nursing a deep inner resentment and racism for whites. He said in spite of a white mother, he resented (in his perception) that his skin color held him and the historical black identity down. It is perfectly logical that he would align himself with a church and minister that dress in pseudo-muslim attire and spend more time bitching about white people than worshipping God. It is also abundantly logical that for these reasons he should NOT be elected president.

Obama is going to have even more problems…there is an article at RealClearPolitics.com stating that yesterday Obama admitted that he had underrepresented the role of Rezko in his campaign. It is being speculated that since it will come out in the ongoing trial, he is trying to smooth things over now. There are so many very good reasons to NOT vote for Obama; he would set us back even further.
By the way, for those of you who think Perez "came up with this," you are wrong. This issue has been all over the news for 2 days now.

I have experienced prejudice and stigmatization for years. But I have worked hard, have two college degrees, all of my family's love, and am successful and content, in my day to day life. I would love the "perfect candidate" to surface one day, but I would NOT vote for the gay white male from the deep south if he did not have intellect, substance, integrity, and a good reputation. And by the way, as the Bible says, a man is known by the company he keeps. Obama just got screwed by the company he keeps.
Doesn't anyone recall when Obama's wife stated last month during a speech, that she is finally proud of America. Every single news source has been referring to this as "Obama's pastor"….why? Because it's the truth. Anyone who goes to church knows that you relate and even agree with what the pastor is preaching, especially if you've been going to the same church for 20 years. ABC showed at least 10 different clips of Wright's sermons and they were all hate-filled. Are we supposed to believe that he missed all these sermons? Please.
